Hey man, there's already lots of comments giving you solid advice on this, but here's the things that helped me out the most in college: Talking to and treating girls the same way as I would treat anyone else I am talking to (even in "romantic" situations, like a date). I made it a rule to become better at conversation in general, and to become friendlier to everyone around me (not just girls). The more you do this, the better you get at it, and when it comes to talking to a girl you like, just …

Can you elaborate on what you mean by this?
/r/seduction11/10/16 07:48 AM

that's actually a pretty good point. Only thing is its challenging to find these girls and charm them in relatively little time, but like you said I just gotta work on my inner game a bit

I've actually been pretty active on tinder, but I kind of miss chasing after girls the old fashioned way

Yeah my plan was to approach when I was done studying and give her my number on my way out, so it wouldn't have the awkwardness of us studying across each other afterward. But I see what your saying, and I agree. Thing is, I am still working on building up my confidence to the point where I could just directly as a girl out and not have my voice stutter or do anything which may convey hesitation while I'm doing it, because I know that shit can turn a girl off in a matter of seconds. Any tips on …

Hey thanks for the comment! Could you give an example or two where your method helped you get a girl's number/date? It would help me out a bunch

Interesting concept, I've never thought about environmental changes that way. Will definitely keep in mind. And yeah I hope she wasn't interested so I didn't miss out on an opportunity. But now I've learned and am ready for the next time

Are you sure it's not too much, though?

Oh ok, that makes sense. Small detail but is it better to text her both days, or just one of the days? Thanks for the help btw

Okay. Just conversationally?

Ended up just grabbing coffee instead. Went very well

There aren't pool tables or dart boars unfortunately. There is a dance floor though, but aside from that not many fun activities. Unfortunately there aren't many great places to go if you're under 21 in my college town. Should I take her somewhere else?

Ha I wish. To rephrase, I'm "new to girls" in general. As in, I've never been in a relationship & only hooked up a couple times. But I'm sure I can still use that line. I can prob just mention that I'm swamped with schoolwork and don't have time, which actually is mostly true
/r/seduction07/12/15 03:58 AM

Yes that's what I'm kind of worried about. Is it acceptable to just tell her that directly? ie "I'm just looking for a fling". Or is there a better way to phrase it?

At what stage in your life did you finally overcome it?

I know a lot of people who are confident enough to pull any girl they want, but not so much that they come off as too strong or overbearing. It's almost as if girls just come to them naturally because they are so confident, but it looks like they don't even have to lift a finger to get girls interested. How can I be like that? Or is that a very far-off goal?

Thanks for the anecdote! I totally agree with you

Coed sports are a good idea. I'm already involved in two clubs (very high guy:girl ration unfortunately) but maybe I could make room for some IM sports or something.

I've already gone insane ;) haha. What is the best way for me to meet as many girls as I can?
/r/seduction23/11/15 05:13 AM

Yes confidence is somewhat of an issue for me. I think that what you're saying about making approaching strangers seem normal to me is a good idea and will definitely start working on that. However, I know some guys who are like that but they take it a little too far and come off too strong, not only with girls but with everyone. How can I do this and not end up the same way? Genuinely asking.

Hmm this is true. Not sure why I never thought of it this way.

That must be a bit tougher. But one thing I've learned here is that age matters a lot less than it did in high school, so I don't think it should hinder you much.

I'm very involved in two student groups at the moment, and most of my friends from college I met in one of them. I agree, they do help, but unfortunately the people who I share my interests with are overwhelmingly guys, so it makes it difficult to meet girls this way.

I actually go on this subreddit a lot and its really helped me in the last year or so. Just wanted to see if anyone had specific advice regarding my situation, which is why I posted.
/r/seduction23/11/15 02:41 AM

That's the idea but to be honest, most people at my school formed into their friend groups freshman year. I struggled with depression and was pretty reserved my freshman year, so I fucked up big time and didn't meet as many people as I could. Now it's a lot more difficult to find people actually willing to take the time to get to know a new person, but when I come across these people I make sure to get to know them Those people who went to campus talks and organization meetings were specifically…

If you want to account to anything in life, you MUST polarize people. MAKE people form an opinion about you, even if it's bad. Get used to becoming amused at failure and ridicule. I like your advice, and I think it's true. However it's easier said than done, so I guess I'll just have to keep practicing and driving this thought into my head every time I consider making a move. Also I've heard a lot of great things about Models on this subreddit, maybe it's time to give it a read. Thank you

Thanks! I totally agree and I'm totally happier spending more time pursuing my ambitions, but I just have random days where I feel lonely as hell and wish I did more to talk to girls. My main concern is that I'll graduate college full of regrets that I didn't try more in college, if that makes sense.

I don't really smoke weed anymore but I get the gist of what you're saying and I could probably apply it to similar situations. Or maybe I could make an exception here and there

That's some great advice. Thank you

Academic interests, yes. For the rest, I wouldn't say its so simple.

Like I mentioned I am involved in certain organizations on campus, but these are made up of 99% guys, thanks to the nature of my interests. I don't really have room in my schedule to commit towards becoming part of another group so I'm not sure if I'd be able to. But you're definitely right about taking risks and getting out more, which I have been forcing myself to do.
/r/seduction19/10/15 04:19 AM

I will check it out. I actually do try to attend events and things that I'm interested in but something I failed to mention is that I'm often really short on time. I'll force myself to make time, though

I see a lot of hot girls on my way to class. So if you are suggesting cold approaching them on the sidewalk or something then I guess so.
/r/seduction19/10/15 04:16 AM
1

idk. I forgot to mention that I've known her for a year beforehand but we've only been at the friendly acquaintances status. I didn't text her much during then so I think it would be weird if I started now
/r/seduction01/10/15 08:46 PM
1

She didn't want to fuck the first time so I did the next best thing and went down on her as best as I could. She seemed to really enjoy it but I guess we'll see if she's coming back or not

I wish drunk me had recalled this quote last night.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:46 PM

Yes I definitely reacted more than I should have. I've steadily been working on self improvement for the summer, so I just felt as though this was a solid failure despite all my progress working out, forcing myself to be more social, etc. I definitely still need to build some more self esteem though, and am working towards that goal using Seddit and other subs.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:46 PM
1

That it is.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:43 PM
1

You're probably right. The only reason I was so upset last night is because I feel like I hardly get opportunities like that so I should make the most of them when I do. Either way, I definitely will not make the same mistake again.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:43 PM
1

When I said "my girl" I meant it more as a way just to refer to her easily in the context of the story, rather than to imply I had possession of her or something.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:41 PM
1

My good friend had a talk with me last night and told me the same thing. Rest assured that I will learn from my mistake.
/r/seduction06/09/15 02:39 PM
1

I definitely overreacted. Didn't help that I had a few drinks. Thank you for this insight, I completely agree with you, but the reason I called myself a POS was just because I had an opportunity and let hesitation and excuses stand in the way instead of just taking it. I'm not usually so negative but I let it overcome me for one night in an effort to make myself remember my mistake, and now I see there's no real benefit in self-depreciation.

Thanks. very true.
