i dunno about that. i have seen videos of tiny people taking out massive guys. i mean, it's all very well having a lot of power behind a punch but if you're too slow to actually hit your opponent then there's no point

not the point. think of it like skill points. like an RPG. if i have 10 points to my strength but my attacker has 11 points to their speed, they will win. i may be stronger but i'd never be able to hit them.

finally, when you see two people fighting, how are you supposed to know whether one of them is highly trained or not? the woman could be pro and the guy could be like me. so if you see domestic abuse taking place, you step in and try to stop it.

my point is, weight isn't everything. there's speed and skill involved too! otherwise what's the point of self-defense classes? they always teach you to use your opponents weight against them! there are plenty of ways to fight against a heavier challenger

ok. well i have had ZERO training, my reflexes afre slow as fuck and my form is terrible. this friend of mine is a black belt and the top of her class. also, can you imagine if your logic was applied to professional fighting? like MMA or whatever? i mean like 'oh shit, we have a challenger! and he weighs 10kg more than the champion, may as well call it a match here cause the weight means it's all over!'

yeah, true! they do call misogyny on everything. problem is, the vast majority of feminists that i've seen have been the sort that hate all men. but they're also the ones that people listen to. so i dunno, i probably am bias or over the top. but that's just the opinion that i've formed of society. that's just me though

my point is, people should step in to restrain her. if someone attacks another person they should be restrained so as to limit the damage to BOTH parties. and although i am fairly muscular, i am not a good fighter. i have no skill for it. she could do some pretty serious damage to me

i know a girl who is much smaller and weaker than me but could still give me a good bruising. she has far more training than i do. and maybe he doesn't want to fight back because if he DOES then everyone will see him as the abuser and start attacking him.

I've iften thought this myself! In earlier days it would have been benifitial to our species to protect women more. However, at this point i usually expect people to be able to escape that and treat everyone equally. Though i can very much understand the compulsion to follow that instinct

While feminism does occasionally help, there have been a lot of cases where i've seen feminists over-react to simple things that aren't even an issue. you're missing the point. despite what they preach, what they practice is another story. i have seen FAR too many cases where women have gotten away with assault, rape, and even paedophilia and child abuse simply because they are women. i have seen cases where women have been given an advantage for being women. it may have started with equality but now it's about something totally different.
