Yes. I knew a girl that was so convinced that only overtly masculine, dominant dudes were attractive that she tried to make me feel unattractive for being gentle and nice and stuff even after she got extremely wet when I touched her gently. And this was back when I was insecure and hadn't really developed swagger or assertiveness yet. It seems like there's two different things which arouse people, although the two can be combined to some degree, but are also sort of polarized beliefs in a way. I…

Well it’s your choice but to paraphrase good will hunting “that sounds like a great strategy, now you never have to risk getting close to anyone ever again.” I get being incredibly wounded and it’s impossible not to invest somewhat in girls that strike me in some way, but you can learn to disconnect and not truly invest in someone unless you’re sure they’re the person you want. I haven’t been significantly hurt by a girl in years. You don’t have to avoid them to avoid getting hurt. You deserve l…

Yes, exactly. Then you can truly start to love the thing you’re doing too. My relationship with all of my hobbies has improved since I stopped doing them for social reasons. I dunno if you’ve had a similar experience but everything becomes kind of beautiful. Even weight training changed from a social obligation to like a game I was a trying to beat or a puzzle I wanted to solve or something. Not that I’m huge or anything but my body has taken on a nice shape. Music is the biggest one though. I w…

It’s a legit discussion topic? It seems like the mods don’t want posts that present a legitimate argument against the red pill.

But also be careful because some girls have some sort of sexual vendetta. Some of do shit to dudes to try and get them to react a certain way. They’re convinced dudes only want sex so they fuck with dudes who dont seem to care until they develop a complex and start caring about sex. It’s just a way for them to feel better about their world-view and take out their own issues on someone else.

Yea I think so. I could just be 100% myself and it’s the best I’ve ever felt.

Honestly when I’m sober and functional, I’m sort of fucking awesome in a lot of ways. Even when I’m a wreck, I’m still awesome in a lot of ways. But now I can actually admit to what I am and not be grandiose to cover or compare with other guys to feel better. I think even that shows through because dudes are usually deludedly prideful and people get sick of it. I took all the self-improvement of the red pill to heart but I just think a lot of the other stuff is a recipe for misery now.

Just be their friend. They’ll like you for it and they’ll pick up on the fact that you’re truly not just trying to bed them and they’ll like you for it. It allows you to be free socially too. There’s no more trying to look masculine or impress them in any way. You can just do whatever you want and be goofy and weird and shit.

No I actually think it really fucks them up and gives them trust issues when they get pump and dumped. I think you're just looking for ways to justify shitty behavior which is common on TRP

It is literally all about confidence. I think you could walk around wearing a fucking tutu and talking with loud squawks but if you did it with confidence then girls would dig it. Some girls are obsessed with masculinity though to the point they won’t show you attention even if they dig your confidence. Or they’re obsessed with some other concept or aesthetic. Like they’re a punk girl and will ignore anyone who’s not punk or a biker girl or whatever. But I’m convinced that these girls still dig …

It’s human duality. Rap expresses it the best. They can literally go from fuck everyone else, i’ll fuck your bitch and shoot you to talking about feeling compassion for their brothers (aka other black men) In the same song. Every human has these two sides in them and if one is neglected then it causes chaos. Neglect your light side and you’ll become empty and be unable to love. Neglect your shadow side and you’ll become a pushover and bastion of repressed rage. It’s just we’re in an unspoken abo…

I already responded to this argument in another comment. It’s the third comment down (after this one) on my profile. Struggle because of not having physical needs met and struggle because of mental chaos are two completely different things. There’s rich kids who literally spend their life addicted to drugs and then fucking off themselves because their parents fuck their heads up and they hate their environment. https://www.webmd.com/depression/news/20110726/richer-countries-have-higher-depressio…

Yes I do honestly think foreigners have more humanity and are less egotistical than the average American. Not all Americans though. And I still love this country as a whole. It’s just become an incredibly confused place

Yes but those sorts of things also stave off existential crises. Struggle can actually give meaning to your life and it can seem like there’s no purpose without it. The problem is that we’re all trying to fill this existential void with transient pleasures instead of things that grant actual fulfillment. And we do this because the concept of god has died and without it people lost their faith in being good and turned to primal rationalism. They see people as an animal that’s sole purpose is to m…

Yea and it’s ridiculous because I think the sensitive people were the ones that were keeping society together but now they’ve basically been shamed out of existence and have no self-worth. Sensitive people are usually sensitive to other peoples feelings as well (empathy basically), and they’re usually the ones truly listening to others and moderating arguments between different types and just generally bringing a lot of warmth to society. I think all types of people are useful but that a society…

Yea I can’t argue with that. I’m British born living in America and I think the UK is the only country that’s really close. But the rest of the world is catching up IMO. Hopefully they don’t completely corrupt themselves by becoming star-obsessed like Americans though.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/19 06:52 PM

Yea but it’s like we operate on a sort of social capitalism as well. A lot of people are obsessed with dominance at the expense of any other personality traits. Which is sad because a lot of other traits are awesome. I’ll agree that every human does have a drive for power but Americans have taken it to the point that it creates mass insecurity, cognitive dissonance and sadness because no one can just enjoy what they have. We’re just always comparing because we’re obsessed with being number 1.

No it’s that we’re greedy, prideful, envious, wrathful, lazy, gluttonous and absurdly lustful. Americans have basically created hell on earth and they’ve done it using an ideology that justifies and romanticizes it. Meanwhile almost no one is happy.

Yea because good looking people can’t be fucked up. I’ve been diagnosed schizophrenic and bipolar. I’ve been in the psyche ward 15 times and have been addicted to heroin, benzos and alcohol. I grew up with a narcissistic, alcoholic, pill addict mom and a people pleaser codependant dad that made me their scapegoat(not blaming anymore becauae I love them and understand). Yea it was really bad. She was the only one I dated but I hung out with another 4 bpd girls and 2 npd girls. Mommy issues obviously. And yea I get that. And I guess things can get mechanically awkward if there’s a big height difference as well (if you know what I mean).

Well the girl who told me this also had BPD and would constantly make comments designed to undercut my self-esteem and destabilize my sense of masculinity so she could’ve just been saying that because I was tall and she knew It’d make me question myself. Why do you go for short guys?

I dunno. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with fashion or having a nice car. It’s just like accesorising your character in a video game. Cool stuff just looks cool. As long as you’re not buying a $200 shirt just because it says gucci on it or something.

Lol I was just about to sya that if that was the only option the I’d rather go radically religious than trp. At least radical religion doesn’t involved hurting other people. And yes I’ve felt empowered both through religion snd trp. I think there’s a middle ground though. No it’s a rant against people that are spreading a shitty hateful ideology that’s corrupting vulnerable people. People can say whatever they want about me. I’m pretty much out of shits to give. They go around making dudes feel like there’s something wrong with them because they’re actual good people and have feelings though. And they do it using extremist language (insults) so I don’t get why I’m being moderated. I can take the insults out if you want though. There’s plenty to discuss without th…

Maybe. A girl said that shorter guys usually try harder to me once. I think it all depends though. I think people with perspective can cope with anything with grace but if you let it get to you then you’re gonna be a dick. And that’s coming from someone who’s on the good end of that deal, as in tall and good looking and whatnot. I have other shit that I’ve been through and had to deal with that would 100% turn me bitter again if I let it. And of course those guys are gonna be demanding and contr…

For thousands of years humans have been trying to figure out these things. They’ve created countless plays, operas, books, albums, paintings and other works of art positing at the true nature of reality and what happiness really is. In modern times, they’ve done countless psychological studies and even attempted to understand it on a purely physical, scientific level (neuroscience). Yet it was all for naut because the answer was so simple all along... What fools we are.

No I prefer to forge meaning and look for beauty in the chaos because I think it’s more sustainable. If I can take solace in the little things then I’ll be able to appreciate life in old age as well. And I only wanna sleep with girls I actually connect with from here on out. It’s just not fun or fulfilling unless there’s an actual connection. I’m so sick of being an unhappy slave to my instincts. I think it’s poison and dangerous. I think it builds on itself too. The more something like trp takes hold, the colder and darker the world becomes and the more people get broken by it and then turn to trp. I’m all for every dude having a tough side but trp is a prison.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/19 03:18 PM

Because they’re trying to make up for other deficits with good behavior. The same goes for sex too honestly. Less attractive girls are generally better in bed. They try a lot harder and care a lot more about pleasing you. This isn’t always true but as a general rule it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/19 03:15 PM

So by that logic Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples are just straight up killers and don’t deserve to be forgiven for getting wrapped up in gang life and killing people? And trp straight up does promote immoral behavior, or at least it did when I went there. It promotes using women and spreads hate against a lot of people.

The red pill people on this sub are insulting all the time and no one says anything. It’s actually the reason I went that route even though I usually don’t. I’m pretty sure there’s only 2-3 insults in the whole thing though and the rest is an actual interpretation?

My life has actually been pretty good lately and it’s been because I stopped taking everything so seriously and developed some serious appreciation for what I do have. I would’ve agreed with you not too long ago but now I think I was just so fixated on a bunch of ego bullshit that I got a tunnel vision and couldn’t enjoy anything. That and I was fucked up on drugs or alcohol all the time.

I could have my views changed. I just really think I’m right. And I went in depth with explanations for it so it’s not exactly vague. I guess psychology can never be proven right or wrong. Not yet at least.

I mean I get it. I’m actually an incredibly emotionally reserved person. It’s gotten better but I still almost never show anything to anyone. I do like to act weird and not traditionally masculine though and I would be miserable if I couldn’t be my weird ass self around a girl. Even if she was ridiculously hot. Which I think is a trap a lot of guys fall in and then they end up relying on the ego boost they get from having this girl in lieu of there not being anything real below the surface of th…

I get it. I literally went psychotic largely because of a bpd and an npd girl, both of whom targeted my masculinity (it’s what they do). The red pill made a lot of sense to me after that. But all it really did was make me miserable and cause me to hurt other people. Edit: And also no one liked me when I was like that.

I almost added the disclaimer that it’s generalizing and people are more complex than that but I think it’s correct overall. I don’t necessarily dislike them. I wrote this all after reading a bunch of toxic shit here so I was emotionally charged but I get along with almost anyone in real life. I like tough guy types when they’re actual tough guys too. They can be really funny and cool and will tell it like it is but a lot of dudes are just pretenders who never actually went through the stuff tha…

I was thinking about this the other day and sort of realized that beta people probably invented 90% of the shit humans love. It wasn’t the alpha dude who came up with drawing on a rock wall, or singing to express his pain, or inventing the wheel. He was too busy dominating. It was the outcast that probably invented that stuff. Probably omega males actually. There’s no point to this post. I just thought it was interesting to think about.

Yea, we really have no honor or dignity when it comes to women. If they’re hot, most dudes will fuck them regardless of who the girl is as a person. It enables their behavior since girls can act like pieces of shit and dudes will still go after them regardless of how they behave (part of the red pill philosophy is literally how to ignore and not react to the shitty things these types of girls will say to you (shit tests)). We also sell out good girls every time we go adter shit girls and probabl…

It’s similar because I would also advocate lifting and dressing nice and all that. But there’s no rules. There’s no keeping your actions or dress code within the bounds of rp’s notion of masculinity. In fact, part of yellow pill would be to embrace your feminine side. I would also advocate maintaining frame at all times, unless you’re making an impassioned plea to get a point across (which should be done sparingly). But you shouldn’t maintain frame in the stoic, statue-esque way rp does. I maint…

It was this crazy theory I had when I was in psychosis. I had to change my tag because I didn’t like my other one and just went with this. I guess it’s just acting however you want regardless of what girl’s think. Basically just trying to impress yourself with your behavior, clothes, work ethic, whatever and understanding that the types of girls you actually want to spend time around would also dig that behavior because they would be like you.

Find different girls then. When two people really like eachother it’s almost inevitable they’re going to end up experiencing some sort of intimacy (emotional or whatever) unless one of them gets freaked out and runs away.

How did you get those mixed up? I had a thing with eti for a while (assuming you mean etizolam). You can get it so cheap it’s ridiculous. But yea benzo blackouts are no joke. They can make you really aggressive too.

I haven’t touched a drug or alcohol in 11 months and don’t plan on ever touching either again. I would google a lot when I did drugs but xanax blackouts make you do crazy shit. And I just didn’t care at the time. I was planning on killing myself and just wanted to take a bunch of drugs first. I had a tree picked out and a rope tied into a noose and everything.

Honestly men also wouldn't find women nearly as hot if they didn't wear makeup. Most women really aren't nearly as good looking once the makeup comes off. Not judging when I say that. Just stating a fact. Having a naturally beautiful face is rare for both sexes.

Yea it’s really bad to use it how I did. I also overdosed once I think. I did 1250mg and about 60mg of xanax with almost no tolerance to either. The only other time I had done it was when my first girlfriend (she had bpd) gave it to me before she told me she had cheated on me (in graphic detail) basically so that she could try to manipulate me into not leaving her (and also so she could try to convince me it was my fault). Anyway, I only planned on taking one pill (250mg) but the xanax obviously…

Yea I was literally doing molly multiples time a week at my worst. But I was completely psychotic and couldn’t cope with being alive unless I was extremely fucked up. And I also had a bunch of it around because I was selling it (not a lot, just to like a few people to pay for my own usage). That was only like a 2-3 month period though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 04:26 PM

Yea it also just gets complicated once you really consider women as people. Like I would never want anyone to do that shit to my mom or my sister or any daughters I might have one day. I guess you just forget about it when you’re lost in lust. Your animal brain takes over.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 03:26 PM

I think a decent guy would compromise. But I feel like rough sex just feeds a completely different part of yourself than the gentler stuff. And that the side that enjoys rough sex is not a side of yourself that you want to feed. It’s like that native american proverb about the wolves people have inside them except with bdsm and gentle, loving sex replacing the wolves.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 03:07 PM

That’s me. I didn’t have the best relationship with my mother and spent most of my life going after npd women. I spent a lot of time around bpd girls too but I never really fell for them. A lot of these girls were verbally abusive, cheaters, addicts and compulsive liars though. I even convinced myself that they were better than other women in the same way the bad-boy chaser girls do. I convinced myself normal girls were boring and pushovers and that these girls were real. And I tried really hard…

I dunno if I’d call it masculine but I don’t think you should try to fit what you want into the label of what society says you’re supposed to be attracted to (masculinity). We’re way too complex for that primal shit and some of the things we like the most make absolutely no primal or instinctual sense (namely art). And yes, I think it does go hand in hand with respwxt for women. I remember reading a post (not on this sub) where a girl said she knew her husband was a keeper because he didn’t try …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 02:03 PM

Well dudes aren’t likely to bring it up. For example, my brother heard a rumor that his wife got with someone in our friend group before they were together. He literally said he “had to know” if it was true at one point but I don’t think he ever brought it up. Not to mention stuff like that can trigger a mans strongest primal feelings which means it’s more likely to be repressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 01:59 PM
1

Yea well rough sex is fucking dumb anyway. I barely have any experience with it but the only time I wanted to do it was when I was at my most fucked up and enjoyed the thought of having complete control over someone. Most of the time, I just couldn’t view a girl that way and thought they’d be upset if I tried that stuff because the whole reason they liked me was because I was laid back and gentle

Well pot is addictive and anyone who smokes pot is probably more likely to turn to sex as an unhealthy coping mechanism. I dgaf what anyone says about pot, that stuff can fuck up your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 01:41 PM

Well I think a lot of excessive sexual behavior is a form of addiction so I guess it makes sense that sex and drugs would go hand in hand. If they have addiction problems with drugs then that’s gonna spill over into other behaviors.

It was about technology like every other Black Mirror episode but it was 100% about sexual jealousy in regards to former partners too. Particularly certain types of partners. The dude didn’t like the guy his wife had boned which is why it bothered him more and he got fixated on the details. Obviously it’s a dramatized example but seriously it’s not at all a weird thing to go through. I would describe how the guys react more as threatened but that could be because of societal pressures. America makes you feel as though you have to bed a bunch of girls to be a real man. And it’s also possible they’ve never explored how they actually feel about not playing the field and instead have just glossed it over by telling themselves some mawkish aphorism (I think I'm using this word wrong) whenever they thought about it. Thus they’re sitting on a bunch of unprocessed feelings that get …

A lot of the girls here are as obsessed with masculinity as trp guys. That’s why they’re all saying they want high n counts. Because it fits into their view of what a guy should be. I think it’s kind of cool to be a virgin. You’re not a perverted slave to your instincts like the rest of us. I was a virgin until 24 but not intentionally. I was just really overweight until 22 and then when I got attractive I was too fucked up and couldn’t fathom intimacy and would just ignore even the most overt a…

I think that this is definitely something the guy has to work out his feelings about at the very least. I think some people just say “whatever. I’m fine with it.” Without actually considering the implications and how it actually makes them feel. I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker but I think it can really bother a guy. I personally think Kurt Cobain had these feelings about Courtney Love but that he couldn’t admit to them because he was from a very sexually liberated scene and it conflicted with h…

Yes but what if someone ended up in a world they really didn’t belong in due to a fluke, and because he bought into trp when he was vulnerable and looking for answers. What if this person is just a nerd at heart and is goofy and sort of sweet and just went fucking crazy for 5 years or so? I’m guessing you’ve figured out I’m talking about myself. What if the person used to be sweet and innocent and traditionally courtly and wouldn’t chase sex and then he went through something fucked up and went crazy and became a drug addict and slept with like 30 women but then he became a decent human again (and sweet) and got a masters in psychology and a good job? Yes but I also thought that I didn’t care about certain things and then I went crazy and it obliterated all my mental walls and defense mechanisms and I ended up confronting the fact that I was very upset over all the opportunities for sex I had missed and jealous and angry at the people who hadn’t messed up opportunities with those girls. In hindsight, it was screaming from the back of my psyche. I even had a recurring dream that would feature girls I missed opportunities with and I would find …

I’m talking to a lot of people. I forgot which one you were. The fact that people who won’t even consider thay they’re in denial or repressing are usually the ones who are doing it the most still stands though. The only way to get rid of that stuff is to acknowledge and then confront it, which is godawful painful but also better in the end. Not that I’m a perfect human or anything because I’m a super fucked up borderline egomaniac like everyone else.

Yes I’m beginning to wonder if low n count men are a lot less insane than other guys. I’m going through a thing I think. I do live in a small town now though but I never really go out to try to get girls. I go to the city. No it’s actually just really hard. Most men sleep with like 7-15 women. I actually have a high n count but it’s just a complete myth. Go to a bar and count how many women you see leave with a guy. And usually the ones you do see leave with a guy are wasted beyond belief. Girls are biologically programmed to be selective. I did a post where I did a mathematical estimate and I forget what I came up with but the average amount of hours a guy needs to invest per woman he sleeps with was crazy high. …

Yea I think it’s at least partially primal. To a man, admitting that we’re flawed when it comes to attracting the opposite sex triggers a very deep seated primal fear that we don’t have what it takes to survive and pass on our genes, which is instinctually a large part of any human’s drive. So we develop defense mechanisms to avoid facing those feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness and it ultimately just makes things worse. In this way, completely falling apart as a person can be a benefit. I…

Yes but I also think that you can’t quantify something like love in whatever study yielded those results. The lizard people thing yea but not that they were some ancient race that survived the dinosaur extinction. It’s a stretch but you could replace the word heroin with anything that delivers chemical relief. That’s true actually. Trauma can also bond people together. It’s part of the reason soldier bond and also a way people bond in abusive relationships. I think that’s part of the problem though is that things are just functional enough that we’re not forced to unify. If the situation were a little more dire then we would take action and I almost think that would be better. Yea possibly and I can 100% see the appeal to tough guy types. Even I like tough guy types but only when they’re actually cool and not just a powder keg of fragile egotism covered up by a masculine facade. I’ve actually gotten along really well with some tough guy types in the past. But I’m also 100% convinced that some girls have dug me but that I wasn’t masculine enough for them or that they just didn’t know how to interact with me because I wasn’t what they were used to.

Love is a chemical addiction to someone. A guy won a nobel prize for proving that. It’s also just an adaptive survival mechanism. There is no right or wrong way for a human to live. No they really do. Being a genuinely good person will make women like you. A lot of dudes are ingratiating though and that’s a turn off. Being intelligent, funny, creative, unique and a whole bunch of other traits will 100% make women want to fuck you as well.

No the red pill is just a result of social physics. “For every reaction there is an equal and opposite reaction”. Look at music. Hippies (peace and harmony) gave way to punk (chaos and discord). Hair metal (superficial, put together) gave way to grunge (genuine, unkempt). If something pushes too far in one direction, then an extremist reaction occurs. Men became soft and emasculated so the red pill arose. Neither is right though. It’s just people have a tendency to see things in black and white.…

I’m fucked in the head and have a lot of defense mechanisms to keep healthy women away from me. I convince myself they’re secretly horrible and abusive, or I act uninterested or I sabotage it or I come up with some excuse for why I can’t date them. It’s quite horrible actually and is really hard to break. But I post here because modern men are seriously in trouble and conflicted and it’s just going to get worse. Perhaps we should unite against women and start calling them out on their shit as well. There is a lot of shit in this world that’s unfair towards men and it’s never going to be fixed unless men unify and force the issue. People called women ridiculous and denied all the issues when feminism first came about but now things have gotten a lot better for women because they stuck with it.

I don’t really ever whine actually. It’s the reason I use the internet as an outlet. I was as closed off and emotionally unavailable as my parents were my whole life and only recently started to learn how to express myself. I didn’t tell anyone anything until the age of 26. No one had any idea my mom was even an alcoholic until I went insane and started ranting about it. I’m not crying about anything either. Girls can fuck whoever they want. I had a completely fucked view of women for a while because of my mom. I experienced an almost exact parallel to what women experience with red pill dudes. It’s because they’re extremist but so were some early feminist groups. Cell 16 literally advocated separation from men because they thought we were so shitty. Remember when “feminazi” was a term too and there were a bunch of man hating feminists? It’s just the nature of any movement imo. It’s an expression of the anger and frustration of being marginalized and ignored. Look at early black right’s groups as well. Malcolm x wanted black people to literally separate from whites in the same way cell…

Yea I think those groups rose because of a lack of unity in men. Hell yes rap music is empowering. Rap even empowered me. At the school I go to, the black guys are almost always dressed nice, have nice haircuts and look pretty ripped and confident, while the white guys dress like shit and usually have no muscle. There is a seriously underlying theme of empowerment in rap. I’m guessing you haven’t listened to a lot of it?

I would still get checked out a ton in the bars and nightclubs but things would only work out if I met a weird girl. These other girls would still try to get my attention though. They were just obsessed with status and masculinity and I wasn’t those things. And I still am good looking, just aged a bit.

I’ll agree that we’re competition. Normalizing that it’s hard for men to get laid and that it makes us sad. That we all get cucked by some shitty girl at some point. Or even cucked due to just bad timing and an unfortunate situation. That we also have insecurities and feelings. That we all get our hearts broken at some point and probably need to talk about it (I read we actually take it worse than women). Shit like that.

There’s a difference between coddling and empowering. I 100% agree that coddling someone can be incredibly damaging. Drug addiction is a good example. Alpha and beta are such archaic terms. Alpha is essentially who everyone is threatened by. In primal times, this was clearly defined and didn’t change unless someone beat up the alpha. Nowadays it’s not at all static and it can change rapidly. A guy can be actinht all alpha and then he trips in a pothole and gets embarrassed and suddenly he’s not threatening or the alpha anymore. Bullshit. It is such a restrictive ideology. There are tons of rules and they’re all based around what they think attracts women. They’re enslaved to women’s vaginas.

So we should be however we want and not care about what women think. Take back our power. That’s what feminists did and it worked out for them. We especially need to take back our sexual power. We give it away so easily nowadays.

Well yea I think that’s the basis of it. Pop culture popularized being a bitchy girl who goes for bad boys. Those girls went a broke a bunch of dudes hearts by going for said bad boys over them. Those dudes got pissed off and flocked to what is ultimately a poison ideology. And what’s going to happen next is that the social market is going to get inundated with trp type dudes and then there’s going to be a backlash towards people being traditionally courtly and genuine. It’s just how trends go. …

It’s not substitute for the real thing. That being said, I think it’s been proven that rape rates go down in places where it’s legalized. But I also think if we didn’t have a society that was so sexually emphatic, then people wouldn’t get so depressed about not sleeping with a ton of chicks. It puts so much pressure on everyone and breeds a ton of jealousy and increasing delinquency to get sex.

I’m not RP either. I’m somewhere in the middle. What I’m talking about is very specific. Polite society in which anything but positivity is banned, even if that positivity has to be forced. Obviously the chinese and Japanese have a strong code of etiquette, but etiquette and being compulsively kind people pleasers are two different things. I don’t have time to get into it right now because I have to sleep but, on top of what I said above, I think compulsive kindness leads to a denial of people’s…

I have nothing against being polite. I like polite people and I’m usually very polite. It sucks when it becomes compulsive though. When people can’t be anything but polite. That’s when it becomes toxic. I guess overly polite society is what I should have said.

I think that when you’re young, assholes or “bad bitches” seem exciting. But as you age, that stuff just gets so tiresome and ridiculous. Plus you realize that life is very long and inherently a bit boring and that a slower paced life really isn’t that bad.

No I’m talking about dudes letting this guy get away with fucking with them. Honestly, I’m really handsome anyway so I don’t care. But I would feel guilty if that were reality. But I think there’s a lot pf variable influencing those numbers.

I think it depends on the time frame. If someones been single for 3 months and they’re blaming their depression on that, then there’s obviously an issue. But being single for 5+ years can be absolutely devastating. That’s why I don’t agree with the whole “I don’t need a man/woman to be happpy” thing. Yea, people shouldn’t use relationships as a coping mechanism. But we’re also 100% programmed to have partners and I don’t think anyone can be truly happy without it.

I used to hate fake boobs. I thought they looked so unnatural. I remember not even thinking christina aguilera was hot anymore after she got hers done, and I had a teenage crush on her before that. I have seen some ridiculously good boob jobs since then and can see the point if it’s done right. I’m a face and personality guy mostly though. I’d take a girl with a nice face and personality over someone with big boobs or a big butt. If they have all of that then it’s obviously better but I haven’t …

Dudes really let you get away with that? I agree with turning the other cheek sometimes but there’s a line. It’s a matter of pride by that point. There’s no way you’re keeping that lighter and we’re throwing down if you don’t give it back when I tell you to.

This is very true. I grew up immersed in polite society. Not only do they not acknowledge their own shortcomings, but we placate and pander to eachother. It’s anti-growth. Criticism, as long as it doesn’t cross the line into abuse, can be a very good thing. Not having it breeds mediocrity and honestly makes a lot of people extremely sensitive to criticism because they’ve never experienced it. I don’t trust what a lot of people say because I know they’re just saying what I want to hear. It really…

True
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/19 03:11 AM

Yea. A connection makes it really hot regardless of how good the two people are. There’s a lack of communication in hookup culture too. Sometimes because people are really sensitive about their sexual performance and take any advice as a criticism/insult. I imagine men could be a lot worse with that than women actually. It’s a lot better when you can just slow things down and talk about what you actually like.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/19 03:10 AM

On the flip side of that, a lot of women suck at sex too. Some can’t emotionally connect. Some just lay there. Some literally can’t get on top without feeling incredibly self-conscious. Some will ride in a way that puts your penis at a painful angle. Gripping the penis way too tight during head or stroking is another common mistake. I’ve also not enjoyed it and wished that I had spent the night watching movies with someone I actually like instead of doing a completely unfulfilling sexual act.

I like all sorts of shit. In my biology class, there’s one girl who’s really funny and sarcastic about her issues. Then there’s another girl who’s quiet and odd. And another girl who just gives off this overwhelmingly sweet vibe. I find all 3 of them attractive. Ultimately I’d like a girl that embodies as many good traits as possible, even if they’re conflicting. For example, confident and brash people usuAlly aren’t that tactful or sensitive, but I think that’s because most people build their p…

Because there’s a difference between red pill woman hate and incel woman hate. The incel hate is just bitter and depressing and scary whereas red pill guys channel their hate into confidence. Not hating on incels when I say that because I have empathy for them but that is how it looks from the outside. I’m not red pill, and think the real answer lies somewhere between red pill and blue pill (which is why I’m here), but I can explain why it enrages people. It’s because it threatens a delusion that a lot of people need to survive. That the world isn’t this complex place where everyone haS the capacity to be shitty. That they themselves don’t have a dark side that they’re repressing (the jungian shadow). A lot of people create this image of themselves as perfectly moral and truly believe they hav…

Well I think it was Tobi Vail that really fucked him up but Courtney love was also clearly not the most healthy parner to pick. I personally suspect they had NPD and BPD respectively. Codependency and mutual drug abuse are also an incredibly toxic combination. The couple will endlessly feed eachothers bad behavior. I’ve done a lot of research on Kurt though and I think his issues were very complicated. I was obsessed with him for a while.

They’re no substitute for the real thing. Ask anyone who’s been to them and they say they’ll leave you feeling empty. I can say thats true from personal experience. I dont even include them in my n count because it just wasn’t fun unless the girl was into me. I honestly think the girls like you described in your original post leave you feeling empty too. And that things just need to keep progressing into more degrading acts until it gets ridiculous.

I don’t think it’s that easy. Remember that even if you fill a niche, so do a bunch of other guys. There’s always going to be intense sexual competition for men, unless you are hyper unique and fill a niche that no one else does or can. Among other things but I’m at the gym and too lazy to type out a whole thing.

If this guy is particularly good at finding girls that fit his niche then I could see him getting a decent amount of ass but I would be surprised if he found more than 5 or so such situations in his lifetime. It depends. Some dudes really are just alpha, but it’s not what people think it is. The dudes who walk around with their chest puffed out and do that stiff, robotic shoulder sway with each step look ridiculous. The dudes who really just dgaf and like themselves, and thus are liked by everyone, are probably the real alphas. When did I say that? I’m actually really popular with girls. No I’m not arguing for bluepill. I agree there is an alarming trend in society with men, and that being overly ingratiating or passive is just flat out wrong. I guess that’s why I’m on this sub. I just really don’t think trp will work. But yea, getting old will possibly suck a lot.

I dunno, I think I was pretty accurate. I know the being alpha thing is definitely a big part of the ideology and that the getting women is looked at as the result of being alpha. Obv there’s a lot of other things too, like lifting and dressing good and whatnot. But that was sort of my point. Let’s say the base point to trp is improving your relations with women. Maybe that wasn’t the best wording. I guess I just meant that all the old guys who seem to enjoy themselves look like they don’t give a single shit about being alpha, which is the opposite of the whole point of trp. I could be wrong though. I admittedly haven’t been there in a long time. That place will fuck with your head
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/19 12:34 AM

Yea I guess I used an extreme example. I would also never want to be the old guy that’s shitting himself and can’t walk. But I guess the point was that someone who humbles himself in old age is gonna have a much better time than someone who still tries to be alpha. Even if they’re both physically able. Getting a woman on a date and an 80% success rate with any woman you approach are two different things. But 80% for a woman you get in a date is also way high. The average woman who goes on a lot of dates would probably say she sleeps with 5-10% max. So unless you are unbelievably, absurdly, ridiculously handsome and charming, 80% is just not at all feasible. Yea I will agree that men should be more masculine than feminine by quite a bit. But having a feminine side is fuckin fun too.

Oh. Yea I dunno. I used to get turned on by Women that were fucking awful. Then I realized it was because of my relationship with my mom. I know Russia is big on men being overtly masculine so I would say it’s possible that you like it for the same reason I liked shit women, because it’s what you grew up being taught to like. Maybe it’s just who you are too though. And it’s whatever. I can see the validity in sticking to strict gender roles. I can also see why girls like really masculine dudes. …

Actually fuck it, let’s use odds again. Let’s say 50% approach, and 2% of those to home with a woman. That makes a 4% success rate. Or you could expect to get laid 1 in every 25 nights you go out. Still shit odds.

Yea I’ve been to the club a decent amount. I would say that, on any given night, about 1-2% of dudes that go end up leaving with a girl. Sounds like pretty shit odds to me.

Haven’t you ever just like held someones hand and it felt really good and like the whole made sense for a second? Don’t you feel like worrying about all the stuff you just said is gonna cloud your mind and prevent you from feeling like that ever again?

And I would agree. I’ve almost never had sex with someone I wasn’t friends with. And the few times I did, I didn’t enjoy it honestly. People in the casual sex community are always acting like it’s easy though. I would argue that it’s still hard even for dudes who get laid a lot by societies standards. Say a dude sleeps with 50 girls in 10 years of sexual availability. That’s still only 5 a year, or less than one every two months. Meaning that dude spent a lot of time not getting laid. I think it…

I’m a dude. That’s why I got banned. I guess almost all social interaction is a form of barter at it’s most basic level. I just feel like it’s dangerous to follow rules when it comes to something as complicated as trying to find love (assuming that’s what you want). What if you get all hypergamous with someone that you’d be happy with and ruin it?

But looking at it in terms of odds like that provides perspective right? Dudes act like you can just walk into a bar and get laid. But I’ve been to tons of fuckin bars and dance clubs and I honestly don’t see dudes getting laid that often. The Royale in Boston is basically ancient rome in dance club form. I went a few times recently and I would say on average 1% of the men that go there to get laid actually do. Yet men go to these places and feel like there’s something wrong with them because th…

But you can’t argue with the fact that odds-wise, the chances of a girl fucking you, and thus adding another d to her tally, are not good. And that this contradicts what the male population says about getting laid (that it’s not hard).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/19 07:19 AM
1

Just wondering. I don’t even know what CMV means and google didn’t tell me. What does it mean? I think that even if a mathematician did similar calculations based on more accurate numbers, they would still come to the conclusion that getting laid is a lot harder than the male population lets on. For example, what percentage of men that have tried to get with you have you slept with?

I just posted about it. Honestly I wish I could go back to being pure though. I feel like I might have to hide that number (not that it’s even that high) from the type of girl I want now. If I hadn’t gone insane and gotten into drugs, then I would’ve stayed innocent (and honestly naive) and would’ve settled down with a girl that had a low n count as well.

It’s possible. Sometimes I do feel insecure about it. I’ve slept with around 23 girls (and a few others that didn’t get to sex). But I also didn’t lose my virginity until my 20s and balked at a shit load of opportunities because I was a completely broken human who could barely let other humans touch me back then. And by opportunities I mean 20+ clear as day chances, including being straight up propositioned a few times and having a girl (that I wanted to sleep with) straight up grab my junk. It …

If dudes are getting laid so much then why do they always feel the need to bring up some girl they fucked whenever another guy talks about getting laid? It’s all posturing bullshit because every dude feels insecure about how many girls he’s slept with. Every dude feels insecure about how many girls he’s slept with because we all keep pretending like we can get laid so easily. So we should just all stop it and admit that it’s really hard for 99% of us.

I seriously question sexual liberation because I dunno if girls can sleep with a random guy without feeling shitty, or at least somewhat conflicted about it, afterwards. I was in a band with a girl who was promiscuous and she just couldn’t help herself. I feel bad for her actually. She did it to escape and then she’d always feel awful afterwards. I did the numbers out for promiscuous girls anyway. But factor in religious girls, girls that get married young and girls that only have sex in committed relationships and 20 is a very generous number. Men are incredibly bullshit about how often they get laid. The fact is that it's extremely hard to get laid. Let's look at it mathematically. Lets say the average girl sleeps with 20 guys in her lifetime, which is probably pushing it because a lot of girls barely sleep with anyone. And let's say that the average girl is also sexually available (has reached maturity and is single or poly for 10 years of her life). So that means that there are 3,650 days in which this woman is going to sleep with …

Well NPD is a lot more prominent in men but that’s also because of a gender bias when diagnosing. It’s a lot easier for a woman narcissist to go unnoticed because no one expects a woman to be like that. I went to court with a narcissist and it was disgusting. I live in the most liberal, feminist state in the US (MA) and ended up with a female judge and D.A. It was literally a joke. No I think society needs to hold them accountable. If someone falls for it multiple times then it sort of starts to become their fault. But some women can literally be savage to a dude that they lead on. Literally teasing him and then doing depraved acts with a dude she knows he would hate for maximum damage. That can fuck up someone for a long time. It fucks up your pride, your sense of masculinity, your ability to trust and taps into some seriously volatile primal jealousy. 50 years ago, women…

I get it. I’m almost 32 and honestly just done with it at this point. Girls like that just annoy me now and I make a point to not even acknowledge them (which only make them try to get my attention more because they’re ridiculous). But some people will surprise you with their sexual prowess. I knew a girl that was a complete nerd and literally hadn’t been with anyone in years when I met her but she was like some sort of savant orally. Plus genuine intimacy just makes everything so much hotter.

I guess if you look at that as a source of fun. I dunno if it’s a sustainable form of entertainment though. There’s lots of girls who have no idea how to tease or even act sexual that are hilarious though. Girls that had really weird upbringings that left them sort of unable to socialize properly but also made them incredibly unique and entertaining to be around if you can get them to be themselves. Honestly I just don’t think we hear about it. There’s a social benefit to a woman looking like the victim to an abusive man. The same has not been true for men throughout most of history (it might be chanfinf though). I can say personally that abused men are often a bit ashamed of it, to the point that they’ll go into denial about it. Men feel like society won’t understand or will look at them as weak. No it’s because a lot of women started toying with dudes due to the abundance of options that things like tinder gave them. This gave rise to an ideology that generalized all women as game-players, and emphasized not ever chasing a woman. So now a lot of dudes won’t pursue a girl even if she’s not playing games because they’re terrified of being used.
