I can’t really get rid of that ingrained fear of male strangers. I actually saw a comment once in a running forum from a guy asking how he could appear non scary when he’s behind female runners. Men are always assumed the bad guy, men automatically lose child custody battles, male abuse and rape victims are laughed at and forgotten. It looked really interesting, and I wish more people would consider men’s rights and men who deal with abuse, it’s a very personal issue to me because of my husband.
