I wish you the best of luck on your journey. You will find someone, never settle. You already have a great mind set, you sound like an amazing person. Between your story, and that greentext... christ... Best of luck, bro. Thanks for sharing your story.

Congratulations on your exit from a toxic thought process and life. It truly speaks well of your character to admit that you weren't doing the best for yourself, or potential others. Honesty will get you farther in the long run with a fulfilling relationship, not only with yourself, but with others. I applaud you, and wish you only the best, in what will be a bright future.

Thank you for the reply. What they should of told me was that I needed to change. It wasn't the girls fault they didn't find me attractive. It was my fault I wasn't doing the things to create attraction. Very interesting, I had come to the same conclusion. I changed to not be needy, overly attached, improve my own self worth, and stopped living with a destructive complex to blame myself for every little fault in a relationship, or lack thereof. What helped me then, was what I thought was obvious…

most women are similar in a lot of ways. none are the same. Nothing is identical, but we pretend it is so, because it is close enough. Expand on what you think is similar of ALL women. Nice is absolutely wrong: nice = doormat. If you seek to understand, then understand this - to a nice guy, being nice is going along to avoid conflict. So, by those rules, nice guys lose. Who respects a doormat, anyway? Who the fuck equates "nice" with a fucking pushover? How is being "nice" to avoid conflict? Hol…

Thanks for replying. If the belief is "there is no answer, there is no way to make any generalization ever about women, you will have to determine each one on a case by case basis" then why not just say that. Do you believe women, or people in general, are cookie-cutter? What kind of generalizations could be implied? (I don't, for one moment believe that "there is no answer", but over-generalization is harmful, and often problematic.) I think simple things could be implied, but complex ones such…

They ask for advice and when they followed it they received only a negative outcome. His much is 'only'? Once, twice, ten times, more? Yes, I am going for the obvious follow up to that line of questions; what kind of woman are they seeking, did they really try so many times that they can say confidently that they have tried every 'type' of woman? Were they simply discouraged after trying to seek after the vain, shallow, self absorbed type, or perhaps from their, up to that point, 'implied' plato…

Young men asking for advice about women want the straight, real answer since they are going out of their way to ask, not having the education put on them. Let's make sure we are understanding one another: Do you believe all women are the same? If not, then asking a few women what they like, is exactly what they like and not universal, yes? Can these things learned from women be applied to some/most other women? Personally, and let me be clear this is my opinion, is that most TRPers, most especia…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
