Serious question but why are we trying to force equality of outcome here? Honestly what is the issue with less men graduating college compared to women? men and women value different things and I’m sure men who don’t go to college can still succeed. I’m just slightly confused because I see the same argument from feminists for different things (STEM jobs etc). Neither are worth getting angry about in my opinion as long as both men and women are given choice and opportunities.

Well, I can say for a fact that real life trans people I've talked to have said the blank slate thing and I'm not just using it as a way to attack. Thanks for your reply.

Lifting isn't just for muscles. It has health benefits, gives you confidence, forces you to go out and push you out of your comfort zone and makes you feel good about yourself. Oh, and it forces discipline and routine which always helps you in other areas.

I wasn't pandering, he cleared some stuff it. But overall there are still some inconsistencies.

Now I'm even more confused, you said that your brain somehow knows your gender and mentioned the case of David Reimer, but I've also been told that gender is just a societal construct (i.e. our brains are the same) and this seems to contradict that? The societal construct also seems to fit the idea of infinite genders more clearly as everyone has different parents, upbringings, etc. What about pangender (people of all genders) and trigender (people of three genders at once)?

Great, thank you, your answers are really informative. This has cleared things up and definitely makes more sense now.

Wikipedia has stuff on pangender (all gender) and trigender which is why I was confused. So you're saying that gender is a scale from (m to f)? Also is it fair to say that transgender people often haven't really experienced being both genders? Some trans women I know say that they know what it's like being a guy, but I feel like that that's not strictly true if they're female. They obviously have felt how society treats guys though, that I agree with.

Thanks for answering, I agree it is confusing and I think that's why some of the ideas are alien to so many, unfortunately. I just want what's best for everyone and end as much discrimination as possible, but want to understand it as well.

So your gender has always been female (If I'm not mistaken) and if the typical man has a male gender have you really experienced being a man? If anything as a female you've probably had more of a woman's perspective than a mans? This is where I'm confused.

Hm, I agree with all of that and think I already understood about gender being a continuum. What about people with multiple genders? Or people who change gender daily? Is this a real thing, how? Sex I see an unchangeable genetic thing, but gender is changeable right?

What are your views on non-binary people? Why are they unaccepted? Also is it fair or not to say if you're natally a man who transitioned to a female that you've never really experienced what it is to be a 'man' that is both natally male and physically male?

Exactly, I agree with you, especially people who are trans but claim to know the experiences of both men and women. Like if you're trans and being honest with yourself, surely you'll never be able to have the full experienced what it's actually like to be a man or woman.

Honestly the more I think about it and try to understand it the more it confuses me. I have tried to understand multiple sexes and infinite genders that change continuously and the more I try to work out what is going on the more confused I get, so many contradictions in the logic and gender identities. Even though the Male/Female system may be wrong (which I believe it is so many exceptions), the new system is vastly more complicated and is difficult to grasp. Trans people should work on educat…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
