honestly she knows my Reddit handle, so I try not to get to specific here--unsure if she actually stalks it; I dont know what she has, her sister has BPD, but weirdly her family keeps it secret. I suspect they are likely doing the same with my ex and her other sister depending on if they have diagnosed disorders and thus ive never found out. Its an incredibly co-dependent drama family that believes literally everything should be swept under the rug. She was quite co-dependent with me too and she…

shes got some kind of personality disorder. Part of the problem is that she can never accept blame or criticism. The other part of the problem is that she's socially awkward and cant make or maintain friends either at work or in her personal life. As such she's never maintained a steady job for over a year--the only one she ever actually had for over a year she spent the first half of the year on maternity leave and then the second year she worked there she used her (questionably diagnosed) auto…

Athletic Trainer and when that didn’t work out, nurse, and now that’s not working out. I wonder who will support her going back to school for fourth time.

Maybe I’m misreading this, she physically cheats on you, but gets upset that you watch porn? That’s very controlling and abusive behavior. Not to mention “pot calling the kettle black” and that whole thing. Your first step here is to get a lawyer. Get documentation about your anger counseling so that if, and when, it does come up in court your lawyer can show that you have always taken steps to be a better father. She went from zero to sixty with you “looking at a few images” after she’s had no …

The whole “get out of marriage free” thing is bothering me, my guy, it’s okay to grieve the loss; but in no situation would you want someone legally forced to stay with you. You should want to be married to someone who wants to be with you and brings out the best in you.

Man I’m so sorry… she sounds a lot like my ex. Actually your story in general is a lot like mine. My little girl is also 2.5 and I was married 9 years. Look on the bright side, alimony can only be paid for half the marriage if under 10 years in California. So be grateful you didn’t stay married to this monster for another year. Also I’m also in the Bay Area. DM me if you need to vent.

I had two sexual experiences after my divorce that taught me a lot. The first was a very strange encounter with a 35 yr old virgin. When think back, I really wasn’t attracted to her, just the whole idea of it intrigued me. She had never even been to second base before me. I stayed with her 2.5 months. We rounded all the bases but never hit that home run if you know what I mean. It taught me a lot about just enjoying myself (I don’t mean this sexually…) shortly after her I met a woman who was in …

It’s not my property, I have no legal link to it. I have no lease agreement nor ownership of it, it’s my ex in-laws property, their home is on the property also. I cannot move back in, it would be breaking and entering at this point.

I moved out due to necessity, our marital home was an ADU built on her parents property. So there was nowhere for me to stay. Are you suggesting that I have not admitted fault in any of this? I contributed to the issues in the marriage too, I would never deny that. What is your point here exactly?

and thats really her problem, one of the main reasons she cant find steady employment is that she never thinks she is at fault for anything. If I fuck up at work the very first thing I do is go to my boss and say "i fucked up, im gonna fix it" when she fucks up in her job she blames everyone else except her. Even outside of the workplace she has lost countless friends and pissed off every member of her family. She will never admit that she did something wrong, ever.

Yeah, a lot of my friends have suggested the same and I do my best avoid her social media and otherwise. Im cautious to completely block her, for the sake of my daughter. But yeah, I see what you're saying.

Good advice, I try to do that, its just hard when you dedicated half your life to someone else...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
