Thank you for such a positive response. For 10 years I have felt nothing but shame because I felt I was a burden to society. It was only within the last two that I have become closer to accepting it. I'm starting to think maybe its time to get back in the game. Maybe I will find a few girls that don't care about my situation? After all, its something that's out of my control. Its a tough thing to think about and its even tougher to do something about it.

What if your flaw is that you are disabled and will be on unemployed for the rest of your life? That's something I can't change just as you mentioned. How do you project confidence in that? How do you convince a woman that you have value beyond being unable to support yourself?

Sometimes I feel like be yourself is the worst piece of advice. I mean, aren't we all here because we've realized "our self" is kinda lame? Aren't we here so that we can improve ourselves? So that we can be a better person, which in turn leads to attraction amongst women?

This sounds abnormal to me. Personally, I recommend seeing a doctor. See your primary care doctor and I'm sure they'll be able to point you the way.

Ahh I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

What do you mean by "Fuck yes or no"?
/r/seduction26/11/19 04:28 PM

I disagree completely. This is similar to what I've been taught through CBT. You learn that you have value and other's opinions are not a reflection of who you are. I'm reading through these and I'm going wow I have most of those qualities. That's something I couldn't say 5 years ago. I would add that perhaps OP could add to his list a quality of empathy towards others. After all, relationships with others are what we are striving for.

So Wholesome. So true. I propose we make an office poster with a picture of an ugly cat.

Therapy. Seriously. Cognitive Behavioral therapy is very effective at helping you to build strategies to overcome that empty feeling that results in "neediness." It worked well for me. I highly recommend seeking a professional more than anything else.

So what you're saying is that I should just rush in unprepared and not give a shit?

Question: What if you've finally recovered from serious depression and decided to get your shit together after detaching yourself from society and playing World of Warcraft for the last 5 years? The only good stories I have to tell is crazy guild drama.

You may feel like that, and that's ok. But how do you act? What really matters is what you do, not how you feel. Act like it doesn't matter and your thoughts will soon catch up to your actions.

That doesn't sound normal. You need to see a doctor.

These jokes are terrible. I mean if this works for you, and you make girls laugh then good on you. But to me, anybody who jumps on the words "sausage" or "balls" to tell a sexual joke screams immaturity. “I’m sure it was tiring. I mean a girl on her knees for that long must get pretty tired.” That's a joke directed at her. It's cringy and not funny. Wanna make a girl laugh? I find a cocky sexual joke about yourself works way better than one directed at her. Even better if its glaringly obvious y…

First of all congrats for getting through the hardest steps to actually get date. Everybody's giving great tips for the average person, but I feel your problems run deeper than a quick fix through a YouTube video. Have you thought about therapy? I've done CBT and I can't tell you how much that has helped me.

See your doctor. There are options that will help you.

Absolutely not. Focus on women your own age. You'd be putting her career at risk by doing that. This could seriously lead to a lot of drama you don't need in your life. IT IS A BAD IDEA.

You don't need the dark Web to buy pills. You can get generics from India. They have lax laws on drug patents. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend self treatment because the wrong diagnosis could lead to serious side effects like suicide. Anyways, hope the best for you. If you do get therapy or drugs, you'll find more motivation to pursue women. At least I did. And that's a big step towards good game.

I'll tell you one thing. I do both therapy and medication. Medication was considerably more effective than therapy. I'd say that meds contributed to about 80% to my recovery, while therapy and exercise accounted for 20%.

When it comes to anti-depressants, they work different for everybody. I've talked to many on it. I've read stories on the internet. The human brain is a complex organ with a vast number of variables. At this point in our understanding, its basically a trial and error process tailored by your particular symptoms. For me, both Lexapro and Lamictal has helped me tremendously. Lexapro is apparently one of the more effective anti-depressants. Lamictal is a mood stabilizer. I've tried many ADs and Lex…

Yes. Anti-depressants. My brain was broken. Serious suicidal thoughts everyday, extremely low self esteem, no feelings of joy, and unable to work. After treatment, the bad thoughts went away. I had more room in my head to think about other things rather than how horrible my life was. The ability to experience joy allowed me to start working. Working inherently jump started my self esteem. Keep in mind that I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder. Anti-depressants don't seem to have any ef…

I'm not sure if people are answering my question. People are talking about escalation and how to flirt on a date. I'm not ready for that. I need to take baby steps. I need to learn how to greet first, then move on to other kinds of touching and flirting. I see girls often at my gym and I want all I want is practice right now.

If you are having difficulty interacting with people, you probably have some work to do in improving your self, your life. Personally, I was looking for the same kinds of answers you were a few years ago, and had the same type of problem talking to ladies. Hey thanks for the tips! I don't approach anxiety or problems interacting with them, I'm just not used to touching. I never learned it from my parents. They never hugged me as a child or even laid their hand on my shoulder. So what I'm trying …

Of course this wouldn't work on every woman. Nothing ever does. Find the ones that respond to your personality and ditch the ones that don't.

Best advice I've gotten is to always try to turn the conversation into sex. Its pretty easy to start. Just basically ask her what she likes in a man physically and personality wise. Often, she'll ask you what you like in a woman. Step it up a bit and share some physical attributes that relate to sex. For example, I've got a foot fetish. So I'll talk about how much a woman's foot turns me on. How the smell of toe nail polish excites me, especially in bed. After that, this is your chance to ask he…

You'll find that people will admire your passion for the things you love regardless of whether or not they are into it. Talk about it. Be enthusiastic. Then ask her what nerdy things she loves. She will listen and she will talk.

The first thing that comes to mind is that I'd like to bang her. But seriously, I haven't been in a real relationship in a long time and I've noticed that the relationships at my gym are strongly bonded because both have fitness goals they can support each other in. So I'd probably like something like that more than anything else. Friendship wouldn't be so bad either.

I don't think my facebook is much of an advertisement. I have it set on private because I don't want people looking at my pictures. I don't take many of them. I rarely go out. My only social interaction for the day and weekend is when I go to my gym. Its a premium gym so there are a lot of successful personalities there, doctors, lawyers, business owners. I never really talk about my shortcomings. I don't want people to know I'm struggling. I think you might be right about setting myself for fai…

Not much interaction. I've had small talk with her. I've smiled at her. She's smiled and said hi to me. But I've seen the way she looks at me. Its different than most girls. She's probably seen me look at her too. I'm not sure if diving in the deep end right away is what's best for me. Especially when my self confidence is at an all time low. There's a small chance that she just wants to be friends. If that's the case, then I wouldn't mind having another. Thanks for the advice.

You put what exactly what I'm thinking into words so perfectly. Because many of us think very cerebral, we have to do things backwards. We have to know the formula, a step by step instruction manual before we can understand where instincts and gut feelings come into play. We can't simply just ad lib the moment. We want something proven from experienced individuals. From there, we can practice, gain the experience and confidence necessary to feel comfortable to "just fuckin kiss her."

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I understand that if you know she wants to kiss, anyone can "just fucking go for it." But I think I line adds some excitement to the moment. Think of the story you want her to tell her friends. Think of the story you can bring up later in your relationship.

Thanks for your input. It was honest and definitely not what I want to hear. I see what you mean with how she doesn't seem interested. With Christina I tried to build up attraction in my class by teasing her the whole time. She gave me her phone number so it worked up to that point. I teach a comedy class so I thought since I'd been joking around all day. Thought that that would make her laugh. Was wrong. A lot of people say I should develop "rapport" with this girls. What do you mean by they should never act like they are enjoying it? I think what I meant was they don't respond well to it. Meaning if I were to lean towards her, she wouldn't lean towards me. Or if I tried to hold her hand, her hand would remain floppy instead of holding it with me. I do know good female friends but in my experience women have been the worst at giving advice about women. My favorite one is "Just be yourself." Look, I've tried that. Its not working. Women don't like me when I'm…

Thanks. I've gotten pretty good at getting phone numbers from women. If I could do that, I should be able to learn how to get more dates and possibly F-closes right? I've been at this bump in the road for years. I need to get better.

Many times I get a lot of negative feedback from touching/escalating so I don't even go for the F close. I will touch her joke with her about sex but they always seem taken aback by it. Others don't pull away, they let me hold their hands put my arm around them but I never receive anything back. They don't touch me back or act like they are enjoying it.

I've tried to do the same thing. Immediately call or text and set up that date. Most the time girls will agree. Saying, "Yeah that sounds fun." Then later for some reason or another they flake out. They stop answering my phone calls or replying to my texts. If I do manage to get a hold of them, they always have some lame excuse like "Oh yeah my brother just got out of prison" or my favorite one, "I completely forgot." I'm just having difficulty keeping them excited about that whole thing.

This is what I do when I get one-itis: First of all, chances of getting this girl are very slim because you've already screwed things up. You've put her on that pedestal and told her she's beautiful and has a nice smile etc. She might already see you as a friend or what have you. You also probably turn into a retard every time you are around her which makes things worse. You forget what you are trying to say, you bump in to things and drop things. Your brain basically says, "Hey look its that gi…

Go see a dermatologist immediately. A good doctor will help you get your acne under control. My acne was so bad, I had to be put on the strongest medication available. It worked. Bad acne won't hurt your chances with girls. Its such a common thing in high school that others look past it.

As someone who has been the life of the party before, being funny helps. If you can't be funny, don't fret. I've seen tons of people that were life of parties and weren't even that funny. The key is: HAVE FUN. If you can have fun, other people will have fun with you. People will want to know why that guy is having so much fun, then they'll think to themselves, "Hey maybe if I hang out with him, I'll have fun too." Have fun, and other people will have fun with you. Then of course, you want to tal…

There are certian books you can read, like this one The Comedy Bible but these only teach you technique. Try doing some open mics in your area if you have the opportunity. You're not trying to become a comedian, you're just getting a taste of what really makes people laugh. That being said, comedy is really a gift very few people have. And, if you watch people interact with one another, you'll notice that there are some who make others laugh that are not that funny at all. Why is this? Well the …
