Maybe those people should have chosen jobs more wisely?

I think a great compromise would be to alternate. So this week the guy can do the dishes and the woman can do all the fixing and cutting of lawns etc and you swap each week

False in many places including my home country the law is such that after 5 years of cohabitation they have the same communal property rights as If you are married. This is actually so in alot of places that recognise common law relationships, and guess what if she has a kid that was cohabitating you now also owe child support for a kid that isn't even yours as a bonus.

Hmm are you sure? I was told by the feminists that men and women are exactly the same, can do every thing men can do and employers should not be of the opinion that women may require extended time away from work for biological needs. Hmm idk your reasoning seems out dated and what's the phrase....."biologically reductive"

Push pull method. The key is to be subtle.

A good way of emphasising problematic behaviour such as this, is sometimes to engage in it as well and if they query it then you can point out its no different to them. It's a win win really, either they will realise the issue and self correct or you get a free pass to do as you like.

Honestly I tend to treat women in relationships how they treat me. If I got this sort of static about this from you I would stop. I would however also consider it as licence to do as I like without any consideration for how it might make you feel when it pertains to similar types of things, and don't ever come at me with even the slightest hint of insecure bs though. I would call you out on the double standard. That often ends up being an issue for some people but I'm a firm beliver in what ever…

Yeah totes. I would be scheduling guys night out regularly as well and well there's lots of women around so ya know. Can't get mad, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

If you bring it up and she responds along these lines just say ok. Feel free to use this as a forever free pass to do as you like though. Can't be telling me I am over reacting and then question me for doing the same. Sometimes a great way to condition against bad behaviour is to parrot it right back and say see?

This is not the only scenario in play. Back in 2018 I was being pressured by the girl I was seeing at the time to marry her. I was really hesitant for various reasons. I happened to be meeting with my lawyer at the time on another matter so I sought advice. I asked what my risk exposure was. My lawyer asked me some questions about my gfs earnings and approximate net worth. He was already familiar with my end (I have a will which he prepared even though I'm young as my work is somewhat high risk)…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
