| 1 | Small talk at college tips?Check out this post from another thread (that's not worth reading). Along with other materials they help in presenting yourself. Also, I think parties are fine for first meeting girls but if you are hosting it, escalating becomes difficult (as you've seen). You are still in high school so you've got plenty of time to learn and improve. It is important to understand that her rejection does not reflect your value. | 2 | Problems with self-doubtSounds a lot like the type of behavior Tyler talks about in RSD (Real Social Dynamics) Foundations. Basically, when you are with guys you are having fun and you are not "outcome-oriented", i.e. you're not trying to get a phone number or a date out of the whole thing, you are simply having fun. With girls, you are (subconsciously) trying to impress them/hit on them/get a phone number/ etc. but you are not 100% confident you can do it. My best guess is that it's the insecurity that gets you.
