I opened up to my family about being raped and was laughed at.Thank you so much. It has been almost 4 years and although I don't think about it often, I figured that it is important for others to know that it is possible. Since it is memorial day, ive been drinking a lot so i thought maybe it would be an okay time to bring it up (so that i would be comfortable talking about it). I was hoping that family would understand but only my cousin who is much older than me took me seriously. Even my girlfriend who I have been dating for close to 3 1/2 years doesn't… | /r/MensRights | 26/05/14 10:19 AM
"I need men's rights"No. We shouldn't. Given your username, I'm sure you remember how circle jerky the "Faces of Atheism" thing got. Not again. Never again. | /r/MensRights | 22/11/12 01:54 PM
If circumcision is alright because the child won't remember it, then is date rape alright as well?I never tried to defend myself. I understand the argument. Once again, I really don't care if people downvote me. It just isn't a prime issue on my agenda. Sorry I guess? I don't know what you expect me to say. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/12 11:14 PM
If circumcision is alright because the child won't remember it, then is date rape alright as well?I'm not saying any of that is incorrect, but I'm a pretty normal guy. I agree with most things that are posted in this subreddit, but I'll agree to disagree everyone! You have a nice day as well sir! | /r/MensRights | 27/05/12 07:20 AM
| -2 | If circumcision is alright because the child won't remember it, then is date rape alright as well?Maybe it has to do with how secure you are as a child. But I appreciate the input! Still, I think I'm for circumcision. People may downvote me, but it's just my opinion. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/12 06:00 AM |
If circumcision is alright because the child won't remember it, then is date rape alright as well?Aye, I had mine at birth at well. It's nice to hear about the transition of someone though as a comparison. I think that it honestly depends on whether or not your father is circumcised. When I was younger, I saw my dad's dick a few times and I thought everyone was circumcised. I identified myself with that similarity. If I would have seen something different, I would have thought that I was weird and lost my confidence. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/12 05:36 AM
If circumcision is alright because the child won't remember it, then is date rape alright as well? Not gonna lie, I like my circumcised penis. And so does my girlfriend. That is all! | /r/MensRights | 27/05/12 05:21 AM
She cried rape, he went to prison for 6 years. She met up with him years later and admitted to him that she had lied, but said she wasn't willing to admit it to prosecutors because she had been awarded $1,500,000.00Yup. Nailed it. That's why you deleted your other comments. And you attacked me first so I was just returning the favor. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/12 03:52 PM

She met up with him years later and admitted to him that she had lied, but said she wasn't willing to admit it to prosecutors because she had been awarded $1,500,000.00Please, could find the time to step off your high horse and tell me how this makes me insecure? You say that you believe in justice, but exactly what happened in this case was the complete opposite. An INNOCENT man went to jail for 6 years while his accuser was rewarded 1.5 million dollars for her wrongful accusations. I'm not asking for a review of thousands of rape cases, I'm asking that justice is served to the people who robbed others of justice. Just because you don't get out in the real wo… | /r/MensRights | 26/05/12 04:21 AM |
She cried rape, he went to prison for 6 years. She met up with him years later and admitted to him that she had lied, but said she wasn't willing to admit it to prosecutors because she had been awarded $1,500,000.00The point is that there is an issue when no male DNA is found in the "victim's" underwear, and that there should be compensation to the wrongly accused. AND when it is proven that someone is innocent after they have already been sent to prison for 6 YEARS, there should be repercussions to the "victim." Not one person has questioned the credibility of rape cases here. Get your head out of your ass and make sure you know what is even being discussed before you make an ignorant comment like that. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/12 03:53 AM
Oh look it's this crap again: "The excessive use of video games in pursuit of the next thing is creating a generation of risk-adverse guys who are unable (and unwilling) to navigate the complexities and risks inherent to real-life relationships, school and employment"OMG THEY NAILED IT. MUST TELL ALL INTERNETS WHY WE ALL FAIL FOREVER. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 01:50 PM
Got this chain mail today. It came from the HR dept. ಠ_ಠThis guy got harassed at work! Isn't that just terrible? | /r/MensRights | 17/05/12 09:34 PM
What in the heck is this? (a subreddit called beatingwomen is linking here)I agree. I recently joined this subreddit because I am sick of all the nonsense in the media that demonize men which eventually leads to unfair treatment in cases dealing with rape (or the lack there-of) and the consequences that follow. It would be a shame to turn people away because people think we are a hate group. | /r/MensRights | 13/05/12 05:25 AM

Kacy Wilson, 28, rapes boy. Charged with "unlawful sexual activity." Article jokes about rape.Looking back, she doesn't even look like the kind of teacher you would expect to have sex with a student. That doesn't really attribute anything but it was just a weird observation. She looks like someone who you'd be comfortable being around. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/12 06:30 AM
TIL Only 66.8% of American men had a job in 2010. That was the lowest level that has ever been recorded in all of U.S. historyTrue. But sometimes, people stick their dick in crazy who may threaten to call the cops about DV because he is breaking up with her. Someone did an IAmA like a month ago about it | /r/MensRights | 07/05/12 10:51 PM
