You don't need to identify as a feminist to share the same ideals. It's the people that have the idea of supremacy over equality that label themselves as feminist that makes others not label themselves. But label or not, it's the ideals that are the cornerstone. It focusses on those, just like for example black rights movements focusses on the right of people of colour. It's normal to differentiate like that.
