Very few women respect or are attracted to men that aren't interested on being providers. Sex and romantic love aren't owed to men, but if they want it, they have little choice beyond putting themselves on those roles.

I understand, but honestly i think that the biggesr issue with dating advice is the part that no one tells then to not discourage them. That most dating is down to luck and while you can do things to maximize your chances you are basically at the will the world. I feel that men would be less frustrated if they dating advice was more honest and they avoid pitfalls of "you're just a bad person/you're not attractive enought". Women probably need some more grounded adivice, but i'm convinced that ma…

The thing about dating advice to men is that is actually does have some worth. Personality is the most important thing to build a good long lasting relationship (and everyone should aim for that in dating IMO), but you are never gonna be able to build something with a woman unless she is phisically attracted to you in some level. So personal hygiene, clothes and money are things that you frankly can't ignore or dissmis in dating. But of course, they don't tell you the most important part is that…

The people that make emphasis in how virtuous they are, also tend to be the most disgusting kind of human, they don't want to do better, they just want to be percieved as better.

Eh, i will argue that Islam does prioritize men over women. But admittedly, that mostly has to do with keeping the imperialist war machine going.

A good sign of patriarchy would be if things were like Afghanistan, pre-industrial China and Ancient Rome, when a man's wife and children are/were basically his property and if he hits then most people would assume that he has good reason for doing so. Granted, most men, even in those places, care about their families, so they probably wouldn't do it, but they can technically get away with that behavior pretty easily, with no legal repercussion. Tell me, what gender in the West is usually assume…

Not sure if there is any statatics, but every time that the topic is breached, being in disscusions or in an article, it ends with most people involved saying that we should worry because of how dangerous these men could be for women or just said that men deserve to be lonely because they are simply bad people. I'm 100% sure thought, that you would never be allowed to speak like that (at least in the west) about any issue that women face.

If she is selling nudes online or if she has a bunch of one-night stands, generally i wouldn't find attractive. If they want to live that way, that's their business and i don't think they are bad people for living like that. But i want a serious long term relationship-commitment and everything i had seen from either personal expirience or other people stories, is that women like that (and tbf, men like that too) aren't really willing to do that. There is too much of a class of priorities for me …

More like shaming then into "helping women". Feminism can't barely remember that male feminist are a thing, they don't really try to convert men as much as they just use social shame to make then help their cause, because otherwise they are bad people or don't see women as humans and the list goes on. Is really less "allies" and more like servants what they seek.

I don't doubt that they are good feminists, i met a few of then even. But i'm also 100% sure that they have no power or influence on the movemen and are at best, meat shields go deflect criticism. I see no reason to believe that that would change anytime soon, considero that this is a problem that they have been carrying since at least the Second Wave. I'll give you this thought, Feminist has ocasionally done some good things for men, but they have let clear time and time again that they are lar…

Feminist is mostly man-hating, not all feminist are man-haters, but all man-haters are feminist. Spend enought time in their circles, wheter they are the "liberal" or "radical" and it largely boils down to that, they only disagreed in how much they should hate men.

While i can't say if is true, it wouldn't surprised me if that was the case, most feminist see marriage as a woman surrendering her freedom to a man. Generally, feminist see anything vaguely resembling traditional feminity as opression. I'm not gonna argue if they are right about that or not, but that's definetly their opinion about that matter in particular, regardless if they consider themselves radfems or liberal feminist.

Self-defense is a human right, women taking the precautions they feel they need to take is perfectly acceptable, as someone that lived in South America and know how unsafe things can be, i can respect those choices. With that being said, is not her right to make it my problem, if she is already negatively predisposed to me based on my gender alone, then she shouldn't expect anything beyond basic courtesy from me or wanting to avoid her as much possible at worst. Your point about infatilazation is one that has been in the back in my mind for years, it always seems to me that men, have a bad tendency to sometimes treat women as children, wich always worried me. But the more i get into females spaces, especially in feminist one and some of my expiriences with women in real life, it does seems to me that women also do a lot to perpetuate that idea, especially feminism, but is impossible to point it out without people calling you sexist or worse, they give a…

At the risk of sounding like an asshole, is because many women think that unattractive=bad or creep. Women are pretty good a picking up the things they find ugly or unattractive in a man, but that doesn't really help much when it comes to someone's moral characther.

Blackmail and threats are also worth mentioning, wich women can and have use to make an unwilling man sleep with then (and of course men had done the same). Hell, one of the most famous rapes in history involved a roman noblewoman called Lucretia by the king's son, she wasn't overpowered, she was just threathened.

I can't say much about other religions, but when it comes to Christianity, especially Catholics, they were very much trying to help women not oppress then, their solutions weren't perfect and are worth criticizing in some regards, but most of their tennets regarding women and marriage were to help then and protect then, to ensure that men felt a duty and purpose in staying and providing for then and technically men got something out of that too, being father was one of the main things they use a…

We talked you about this before, but i will repeat it. Most feminist don't and would never respect you no matter what you do. You are their enemy no matter what you do for then, every effort you put would be the bare minimum, you have to constanly prove how good you are and in the moment that you don't behave according to their standards, they would stab you in the back. Deep down they see you as a potential enemy that could turn on then at any point.

Great post, i think that you perfectly summarized my views on how the left and right treat men and why the right appeals to then more. The right, in theory is offering a symbiotic relationship when both sides can potentially benefit if they are lucky enought and do everything right. The left overall, just seems to expect men to put all their being in following the "good cause" and put their own needs and desires behind indefinetly. Maybe some of the left is just painfully naive and seem to think…

Most men and women do not understand a lot of the lived expirience of the other gender, that's very true. We all have our bias. But feminist claim to look for equality and ask us to support their cause, so i'm harsher on my judgement on then, than i'm about just some random woman making assumptions about me (that one can be annoying, but i can tolerate as long as it's nothing hurtful).

Feminism tends to ignore the struggles of the average man. Everytime i had seen feminist talking about how hard is to live as a girl/woman in comparison with boys/men, they usually are comparing themselves to boys that are in the hightest postion of whatever social structure they are part of. Ignoring how that kind of person is the exception, not the rule, so is not surprising that many men don't trust their judgement or might even think that they are lying. I don't remember who said it, but the…

Yup, it's why i never can't agreed with feminists. Patriarchal theory can't really lead to any other conclusion beyond women being perpetual victims or objects of lust for men throught our entire history and if that's true...well it doesn't lead to any good implication for either sex. Really, if this is the true root of the problem, women should either try to change the dynamic and actually be the ones to pursue men or they should never seek any romantic relationship with men. But of course, the…

Is less than i'm pessimistic and more that i don't agreed with the premise of what she is explaining (women had been socialized into liking/accepting things that they don't actually like). But if i accept that premise as true and they are right about what they are saying (and hey, maybe they are, i'm not an expert), then there isn't any other conclusion, centuries of that kind of "brainwashing" aren't gonna go away just by learning more boundaries, based on how the people of first world countrie…

Saying that for women sex is, as a rule not enjoyable or how their feelings don't matter and how that it's socialized so strongly on women that they have become self-destructive (again, as she said, that's the rule, not the exception) can't lead to any other conclusion. Relationships are nothing more than enslavement for women and there is very little that men today can do to fix that, because they don't have enought agency. Sorry if i sound cruel, but if that is what has been happening for most…

Frankly, if patriarchy has his roots so spread on society, especially on women, then ethically speaking men should never seek intimacy or express their romantic desires to a woman, because no matter what decission we take, we are doing damage to then, whether we intend it or not. Maybe is not what you are trying to say, but it's difficult to not see it like that, personally if what you said is true, then i see no reason to have a romantic relation with a woman, most men don't have the ability to…

Rejection hurts, plain and simple. Ideally, they both could still be friends after being rejected and some people can do that, but is not for everyone and is not a moral failure for a man to cut a frienship after being rejected, is just survival. He definetly shouldn't speak badly of her behind her back thought, that's vile behavior.

In my expirience, men usually just say that a woman (usually someone they don't know that well) is hot for x or y reason. But i never heard intimate details about their girlfriends. The one time in my life when i was in a mostly female friend group, sex was a more common topic and one time i got a pretty explicit description of a sexual encounter from one of then. I can't say if most women are like that, but is kind of impressive how the "dudebros" were so tame in comparison.

Because mainstream Feminism is very much a cult of hate, the feminist with actual social and political power has shown that they do not care about then, that if the end goal finish with men being second class citizens, then that's an acceptable outcome. This is also not knew, if you research how Feminist operated since the first wave, you'll see that they never really cared about being equal to men. And it has convinced a fair amount of women that the other half of the planet is their enemy.

The anime never implied that Sasuke was gay, beyond a gag when Naruto and Sasuke acidentally kissed. The real reason for why people think that of Sasuke is because of how Naruto bringing him back became one of the main plot points of Part 2 and that most of the fandom think than the girls, especially the ones that married Sasuke and Naruto, are poorly written or just boring. Can't say much about the Red Pill, i only found about then around the time when the "Choose Man or Bear" drama happened. My conclusion (based on my limited interactions with then) is that they have some good points, but they are so focussed in breaking us down to our biology so much that it would just eventually lead you down to a path of bitterness, the fact that it seems to be the only circles when men that had been hurt horribly by women without being judged doesn't help. Until i see any real change on how the progresives approach the problem, i won't trust then frankly, they need to earn it. Frankly, in my personal expirience, that whole "Feminism is for men too" idea is largely lip service, if they ever did something significant to help men, it was by complete accident or because they felt that it benefitted Feminist more than men, even if they got something good out it. The Feminist with geuine social and political power to acknoledging these issues aren't interested on adressing it and would keep denying it as much as they can.
