My wife and I fit all these categories. Not that crazy.

Interesting, wouldn’t have guessed that one. Oh well, my personal experience has shown the opposite result and that’s fine by me.

I don’t believe in astrology or any stuff like that, but there’s something about radiating positive energy vs negative energy. It’s the difference between walking around with a smile on your face vs a frown, people will always gravitate more towards the person smiling. By smiling, being respectful of others, and just exuding positivity the world around you will be a better place. You will also increase your mating chances with this lifestyle.

If that’s how you choose to view life, marriage, children, it is what it is. Enjoy. I for one chose to marry someone with the same ideals, goals, and work ethic, a true partner in life. To the guy paying child support to three different women, in my opinion he fucked up and absolutely should be paying support for the children he helped create. Men and women share equal responsibility in creating and caring for children, since he is paying them it sounds like the women are the ones with physical …

Is all that what happened to you? And now you’re blinded by Divorced Guy Pessimism? Just because your marriage sucked and ended poorly doesn’t mean all marriages are doomed. Marriages are a two way street, you get out of it what you put into it. My wife and I have worked our asses off for a long time as partners to build the life we have together. Sorry you haven’t been able to experience that, but it sounds like you never will.

Just went on a 5 day golf trip with buddies. Didn’t have to ask the wife for permission, not in the doghouse, and she had dinner ready for me when I got back last night (didn’t ask for that, she wanted to do it for me knowing I was going to be tired after walking 18 then driving 7 hours). Sounds like my wife is better than your (ex) wife.

As a man in an extremely happy, loving marriage, I comment here to try and spread positivity and/or stick up for all the great people out there. I also love to argue but don’t want to piss off people I care about, so I come here.

If you don’t want to get married, don’t get married. Simple as that, no one is forcing you. Personally, I’ve never been more happy than I’ve been since marrying my wife. This past year of being married has been far superior than the almost 10 years we dated. Find what works for you and your relationship(s), I couldn’t be more proud of my “old man gold band”. I don’t know why all the guys seem to hate the idea of marriage… If you’re worried the women wanting to marry you is a gold digger, cheater…

Start developing confidence in areas you have interest in. If you’re into gaming, golfing, cooking, whatever, chances are you can speak to or participate in those actions with some confidence. Use those interests/activities to meet women/men who have the same interests and you’ll be able to confidently strike up a conversation with that person. At that point, you’ve gotten the ball rolling and that simple conversation about a common interest (which you are confident in) can lead to bonding and e…

Don’t use Tik Tok as your source that being toxic is the only way to get girls. Tik Tok is just a made up, social media clickbait fantasy land. Go out into the real world, do stuff that is interesting to you and actually meet other people who share those interests.

Anecdotal, but that does not apply to my social circle. Most of my friends are below 6’3 and most of them are in LTR with fantastic women. Some women may have checklists for the men they date (as I’m sure some men have checklists as well), but that is not representative of all women (or men). There are fantastic women out there who genuinely love men for their personalities and compatibility vs physical appearance and/or wealth. I swear there are too many self fulfilling prophecy people out here…

Right there with you buddy! One of my go-to sayings that my wife wrote into her vows, ‘we don’t HAVE to do anything together, but we GET to do everything together’.

Can almost guarantee you you will never be in a LTR with that attitude. Lies and deceit do nothing but splinter people apart. Anyways, if you don’t move past your bad experiences then I agree with one of your points, women will always have a better option than you.

Well maybe you’re just an unlucky guy and your POV is jaded by your bad experience with an incompatible ex-girlfriend, that most of us avoid, and now you’re blind to all the fantastic women out there.

My wife and I are partners, neither superior/inferior to the other. Not one time in our 10+ years together has any of what you said applied to our relationship. Hopefully you mature out of this negative, unrealistic view of women and dating. If not, have fun hating women your whole life.

If you believe this then don’t get married, no one is forcing you to. But stating that all marriages are bad is just ignorant, you have no idea what’s truly going on in other people’s relationships. I married my wife because I absolutely love her, believe in her, and want to enjoy the rest of our lives together. While I admit I’m a bit old fashioned for being 29, I’m extremely proud of my “old man gold band” wedding ring and the love/commitment it symbolizes. I hope you meet someone one day who …

Money was the last thing on my mind when I married my wife, pretty confident money was the last thing on my wife’s mind (if I’m wrong, she’s a pretty bad gold digger cuz I ain’t got shit). We married because we loved each other and wanted to enjoy the rest of our lives together. Not all women are gold diggers, not all men are RP dicks. Find someone who truly cares about you and you won’t have to worry about this shit.

I hate starting off comments with insults, but you’re an idiot if you believe any of what you wrote. I’m guessing this is fake, but I’ll answer the title question anyways. I think women who are extremely petty are extremely rare. I also think that extreme pettiness is not limited to women, men are just as petty as women. I pray that people reading posts like this don’t attribute your type of thinking to all men. Petty people are petty, it’s not constrained to one gender over the other.

It’s a fact they would come back to his house next week to rob/assault him again? No it’s not. Had he shot them inside his home while being attacked, 100% justified. Shooting someone in the back after they are no longer a direct threat (because they were running away) is not justified. Cops aren’t justified in shooting people in the back while they are running away and not an immediate threat to someone. I tend to agree with 95% of justified shootings, this is an example of an incident I don’t b…

Shot someone in the back after they left his house, were running away and were no longer an immediate threat to his person or property… that’s called murder. The criminals should never have been there, shouldn’t have assaulted him, shouldn’t have tried robbing him. But you can’t do what this guy did which is along the lines of “get back here so I can defend myself”.

Competition is beautiful and necessary. Competition leads to the pursuit of improvement, you have to get better to be the best. Once you’re the best though, everyone else wants to be better than you so that in turn drives more improvement to continue being the best. Competition drives ingenuity, advancement, thinking outside the box, self improvement, goal forming... Competition needs to be embraced and championed by our society, without competition we all fall into the status quo and nothing im…

You can only keep up the facade for so long before slipping, unless you’re willing to live the rest of your life playing a role. I for one am not willing to do that. Just like rule 34, someone will connect with you and love you when you’re “just being yourself”.

If other guys don’t want to look like a “simp” for treating their women right they are dumbasses who need some self confidence. My wife is the most important person in my life and I don’t give a shit about what anyone else thinks of the way I treat her or how it makes me look.

28 y/o man here, met my wife our senior year of high school and have been together ever since. Through all the ups and downs, trials and tribulations, our love for each other has only grown stronger. I tell her all the time how lucky I was she kicked some girl out of the seat next to me all those years ago or we may still be searching for each other. I pray everyone has a chance to experience what we have with their own partners.

Obviously it’s legal but I just think it’s weird once you start getting to 18+ year age gaps. The whole “same age as my parents/children” thing. Just the opinion of some random internet person though.

“Yes, things matter” 😂 Let’s take it down a notch here buddy, it was just my two cents. Yes there are differences between men and women, no one is debating otherwise. In the whole array of differences, i don’t believe inherent shallowness is skewed towards a certain gender. If you know something I don’t, please explain.

I think men generally have lower standards than women because of the evolutionary difference in reproduction. Men have lower investment requirements to reproduce compared to women (who actually have to carry the child for 9 months), and “spreading your seed” across as many women as possible was an evolutionary benefit at one point. I agree times have changed and this ideology may no longer have the highest benefit, but it will still take time for these reproductive urges to subside in men. Note,…

There’s no inherent “shallowness” for either sex, shallow people will be shallow. Calling out one sex for being more shallow than the other is just stupid. Everyone just needs to be themselves (shallow or not), someone will love them for it.

I’d advise them to lock it down quickly as long as that person is the one. Maybe I just got lucky but my relationship never seemed like “work”, the more we were ourselves the more our love grew. We weren’t looking for love when we started connecting, it just happened organically which I believe is the best way to find love. We find what our hearts are looking for when we stop searching and let it find us. My biggest piece of advice is to simply be who you are, someone will absolutely love you fo…

These posts make me so happy that I (28 M) met my wife and love of my life (29 F) over 10 years ago in high school and have been in a loving, caring relationship ever since. I can’t imagine dating these days with all this red pill/blue pill/tinder shit.

I’ve always wondered about this scenario: 100lb F and 200lb M meet at a bar, the F has 8 drinks the M has 16 drinks, both are equally intoxicated to the point they get a cab back to a house and have sex. Neither are incapacitated, but both are very intoxicated during the act. If the F regrets the sex in the morning (because they wouldn’t have done it had they not been so intoxicated for example), was there a rape? I always question this because if they were equally intoxicated to the point neith…
