Depression can be handled she can be helped. There is no 'fix' for depression. You can treat symptoms, help the person deal with it. Depression doesn't just vanish. Being trans is not a mental illness, because of how transsexualism is treated by some it can cause mental illness. Correlation is not causation, there are many more factors including what is said before, something people are neglecting by the way, that they are more prone to real mental illness like depression and anxiety. They probably did that because of mental problems that come along when you hear that what you feel like you are is called fake or an illness.
