He’s right. I’m 5’6 and change. It used to break my frame when people talked shit or women talked about how they need a tall man, now it just is what it is. I haven’t cared in many years, it’s never stopped me from achieving anything I wanted to. I have decent looks and it’s definitely evened the playing field. If I talk to taller women, (for the most part) it won’t matter once we’re done. Ex: I just ordered in food and the delivery driver (female, taller than me) stood there like she wanted me …

There are some good stretches you can do with a towel, roll a ball under your foot, etc. anything to stretch those muscles. PF is painful, but it can be dealt with. Good luck, man.

I had this. Walking on the sandy part of a beach helped. Gotta stretch those muscles if you don't have beach access

I focused on school. Started a garden and just found that caring for those things kept my mind off of it all. Wife lovingly left me while I was down.

After a stroke I did 1 and 2 almost got to 3, but I snapped out of it. OP's got this. Find something to makes life worth living for and keep doing it. Make it your mission. The life lesson you will learn is far more important. Good luck.

This is a good post - thank you. I have a pretty high fuck count and it's been with a plethora of women. There was a saying when I was younger "short, skinny, fat or tall, Mark fucks them all." I find it funny when I think about it now. I have only had bad feelings after it was with a super low woman, which wasn't/isn't often, other than that, I fucked them all and I was happy about it. I'm just now getting back in the game after being in a marriage for 11 years and getting my manhood back - thi…

I have known her for quite a while. It's an ex, who is clearly coo coo. I'm starting to think it's a bad idea. I agreed when we were out drinking.

She isn't. I meant day after, when she's gone. I just waited for her to text and kept it sweet.

If a girl is in another city, do I go there, or make her come to me?

It's been a week + for me here. I am going through a divorce with a very manipulative person. I'm hitting the gym, as much as my body is able to. I recently had a stroke, so I'm not in my top condition to really push it. I have always been susceptible to her badgering. Sometimes I can catch myself, other times it's hard to recognize them, because she can be crafty, or flip, spin her dramatics onto me. I have to hear her lies daily with all of the divorce crap. I think the worst thing is this fee…

I've seen that. And hey, way to go.. Leading by example. Since taking control of my diet, I've been eating a healthy intake of good proteins. I'm also a classically trained chef, so I know about foods and how to cook them

I understand you think that given most men, but even with my slight weight gain, I'm a fine specimen of a man. Thank you. No Twinkie ever goes in this bod lol

This is good stuff. I could say so much to what you've written, but I'll keep it simple. Thank you, I really appreciate it and will read it over and over til IDGAF anymore.

First day in the gym and I went twice today. Coming back from a stroke, I'm weak as shit. I'm taking this advice though.

I went earlier. To be honest, I thought about it then

I like this advice. I am not ready to next the marriage, though I will if it seems the way to go. That transition seems unbelievable. The onset of depression after the stroke, which is a pretty normal reaction to life altering shit, was over played in my pity for myself. I am not in that mode anymore, but I can totally see how it would rub someone wrong, which is really their shit. I see how owning my shit would change their unsympathetic perspective.

I've got that and I'll be listening to it and taking notes. Communication was always a huge issue

With audiobooks I can do both. NMMNG and WISNIFG are on the list. Almost done with the first one. Thanks for the post - to answer your question, no.

I'd say I had reality slap me when I had the stroke, this is just the rest of it. To be honest, it may be the least important slap, but it is exactly what I need.

Get the fuck up and do what I need is the first step. I do have moments of weakness when I think of my famioly and it's hard not to write her, even though she's been ignoring any attempts.

11 years. There were signs in the beginning, but she really attached herself and I was a weak bitch.

I'm very familiar with stoic philosophy. I lost my frame during the stroke and was gaslighted into these "conversations", while also being stuck wherever I was. Not that its and excuse. I just told her to go find a friend to talk about it, I have now interest. She always got me in by making it about "the relationship" and once my family was threatened I usually lost my shit. STFU would have been really useful, wish I'd known back then

It was severe, but I've since regained movement and I'm finally ready to start getting my shit together. I'm 38, which is why I bounced back like I did. I'm slow and weak, at the moment and fatigue is a real issue.

If I had a frame at all, it was definitely lost during the stroke. I was on feeding tubes and had to have people bath me and wipe my ass. Thank you for being straight up.

After reading NMMNG, I believe she was playing on my toxic guilt. She may have been seeing someone, though there were no signs until very recently. She trades guys in for a new one, jumps from one relationship to another. We have been married 10 years and that's what she did when we met.

By the way, what I think she's been playing on is my own toxic guilt
