I understand what you’re saying. I just think we lose a lot more money from the consequences of not allowing people to be okay. This coronavirus crisis isn’t a new thing that has put people out of work and it won’t be the last. I hope you’re able to get back to work safely and continue moving forward strong during these hard times

Hard work has changed. That’s the point that I’ve been trying to make. Work is a constantly changing idea. But intrinsic human value is not. You should be safe if you are working or not. You should be wealthier if you are.

70% of our gdp is consumer spending. You know when I would make the most money turning tables? The week disability went out. I don’t care if you get your money playing games, doing construction, or stripping. I believe people need the bailout, not corporations. And people need security in a modern, advanced society such as ours. It will make us healthier and wealthier

Robots are increasingly stocking shelves and cleaning. If a job isn’t being done, it’s because it isn’t paying enough. Insisting that people “work or die” means that we continue spending $16 billion a year in food stamps for slave wages. Implement a UBI instead. If people refuse to work in shit jobs at that point, then those wages will increase

Bruh, I don’t see much difference between stripping and clicking on a computer mouse. In terms of “what this does for society”, neither of them can compare to being a single parent. I’m saying we gotta show some solidarity and understand that we all have intrinsic human value. We’re valuable because nothing in this universe is valuable without human thought.

I don’t have any agenda. My point is that if games = a job, so should parenting. So should being a upstanding citizen staying home and stopping the spread of a disease. And clearly they’re valued. Many of them make hundreds of thousands. Yeah, some get bad media but so do the Kardashians. So do scientists. The girl in this post shouldn’t have to worry about hitting rock bottom. Especially since rock bottom doesn’t seem to exist for corporations We need an income floor that all people start from.…

You’re right. Single mothers don’t make money. Our society values video gamers MORE than people raising our children What I’m trying to say to you is that people have intrinsic value. We should begin to see that as a society. But apparently being able to 360 no scope means you deserve to make more in a month than someone who’d rather stay home and take care of their family during a pandemic will ever see in their lifetime

For sure, I would. But I would take a picture of the disruption, send it to my boss, and later my representative to request actual climate action be taken by our government. I mean I’d rather these people be out on the streets then just typing out messages on Facebook.
