Just watched the link. Amber Heard: And in 2020 I have no doubt that it will be Women who lead again, it will be women who come together, rise up and move this country forward on a path towards justice, where all of us can live together and thrive together despite so many perceived differences No opinions to share, just had a funny thought - replace all the words 'women' with 'men' and imagine a man saying this. Lol.

The person (male or female) who wants a loving relationship but cannot get it has to lower their standards for physical attractiveness and select for more intangible qualities. Except they don't want a loving relationship so they don't apply. In referencing both these points you are assuming two things: Only one of the parties cannot find / is struggling to find love The other party is not looking for love The ultimate goal of dating is to find a SO though, someone that is a suitable candidate…

Why do men have to be the ones to lower their standards? The current inflated sense of worth of a good portion of women out there is astounding and leads to a misguided belief of entitlement to a higher standard/quality/caliber of person than what that individual actually has to offer. It's this exact mentality that is going to lead to unhappy marriages in the future as the women that fit into this bracket will always feel like they are settling moving forward when they they don't catch the top …

I don't think that's a fair comment at all. That's like saying to someone who was born in poverty 'change your expectations of what a good standard of living is' The intention of my initial comment was to highlight that there are external forces at play that are contributing and influencing dating culture and not in a good way, which is ultimately leading to a divide between genders and is the catalyst for echo-chambers like TheRedPill. The reality is that the slightly above average but not quit…

it pains me to say this but I agree with your comment here (mainly because while I am not necessarily seen as having less desirable genetics, I am not the top 10%). I think we will actually get to a point in the future where the 'less desirable genetics' will eventually die out (over plenty of generations of course), or the gap between 'more desirable genetics' and 'less desirable genetics' will grow to the point where there is a MASSIVE divide between the two. It's a bitter pill to swallow but …

I guess it comes back to the individual but as a guy with a N-count in the 10-20 range (dont keep track, seriously who does) I almost feel like that is low compared to the 'banter' out there in locker rooms but also on the female side knowing whos seeing who in the social circle and having an idea on who (and how many) theyve seen in the past

/u/ThatGirl50 - what is your advice to those of us (men) that feel we are good people, charismatic with personality and energy to share, respectful towards women on the basis of coming from good homes with good core values, on the right track in life ie good job, decent stable income, reasonably attractive (subjective I know) and want to find someone that they can love and respect and create a life with but are struggling with the current dating climate given the influence of social media and th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
