If you can't keep up with school you can always drop out and come back a couple years later. Working bullshit jobs motivated the fuck out of me to take things more seriously and come back to school with drive. As for your parents, you just have to face the music. Just tell them and you will feel a ton of relief because you're not hiding your failure anymore. Do what you need to do. Leave school or stay and retry if you think you can do better

Yeah well just be careful. You're still very young but try to practice self control. Limit it to once or twice a week and if you can't do that, then it's running your life. I'm not much older than you but I can tell you from experience that the pleasure from drinking goes down over time. Like any other drug. It's a socially acceptable drug but it still is addictive and eventually kills people. But that said life is short so fuck it. I ain't no fucking teetotaler.

It's easy to remember good times with booze but you have to also remember the bad times. The puking, the hangovers that ruin your day, making a fool of yourself in public. Getting drunk by yourself multiple times a week will destroy your health and happiness. It's a depressant and if you can't control your drinking then cut it out completely, at least for a few weeks to reset your body and start feeling good again. I struggle with it as well
