This is damn profound.

I felt exactly the same thoughts and emotions two weeks ago, and I'm still digesting them. To me, the sanest thing I should do is buy reliable camping gear and live alone in the woods. This is my last resort in case I can't integrate myself in this cradle of filth called civilization. Unfortunately you are right. Solitude, being your own leader, attracts fear and implicitly hatred from slaves.

Golden reply. I whole heartidly agree.

Who gives a shit? I've been through this phase and the inherent depression. And you know what? I stopped caring. I strive to live as well as possible - exercising, learning and aiming higher for myself in all areas of my life. The rest is not under my control or my concern. And for what's worth, I can't wait for the world to burn. Then again, it won't help me in any way whatsoever. So back to square 1 - who gives a shit?

It's even easier to be dominant when you have a 6 pack abs and 6 figures annual salary.

What about improving seduction skills and being a better partner? *sarcasm*

This is not MGTOW related. You haven't given even remotely enough information to get decent, relevant advice. What you are doing now is wasting your time and our time. You've got some growing up to do. And let this be a lesson never to depend on a woman (or anyone in general) ever again.

I loved reading Nietzsche, about Diogenes' lifestyle and views, and stoicism as well. Kierkegaard is great also, or any other philosophy that attracts you. Just remember to exercise your critical thinking and avoid becoming dogmatic or over zealous. Enjoy!

Civilisation and humanity can go to hell. I'm done sacrificing myself.

I'm focusing on practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a hobby / physical outlet. It's been very helpful for me. Working on improving my yogic breathing exercises (Pranayama) practice, transitioning to raw zero carb diet. Started learning for my exams to continue my medical career. I'm dreaming of working in a mix of research, data science and epidemiology. I gotta admit, life is pretty good now that I have a direction and things to improve. But the hell I went through last year to get here and out o…

Brilliantly put. The problem is that except moving out in the wilderness, there are no other options available.

No, learning it online is good only for the basics and self defense priming. If you're interested in this, watch the program Gracie Combatives. It's the best out there, but you still need to practice it with a partner somehow.

Try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu if you're looking for a great martial art and some good people to meet.

What about aggressive alpha males that try to dominate you? Are you OK with them? What about passive aggressive incels spitting hate on anyone?

You are right, there's a lot to be angry about. In the same time, the idea of universal impermanence makes me think that the idea of this dimension is to experiment and experience.

I used to think that the collapse is inevitable but I'm not so sure now. Even though MGTOW has increased, there will always be simps and incels to cater to the holy vagina. As such, I see human civilization going towards a more technological and controlled shit show. Time will tell. I'm just not convinced that too many men will opt out. It takes tremendous personal strength to walk alone and most men are not even willing to try, imo.

I've been redpilled 6 months ago, then went MGTOW and broke up with my girlfriend 3 months ago. It's still stinging since she told me recently that she lied to me and seeing her hamster wheel creating ridiculous stories to "empower" (end of quote) her. I've started doing Brazilian jiu jitsu for 2 weeks now and started learning Python (a programming language) and researching cyber security. BTW, I highly recommend jiu jitsu for fellow MGTOW brothers - its benefits are astounding and it actually h…

The comparison is far fetched but if that's how you convince yourself of your impotence, so be it. This was a friendly reminder thay IT IS possible and maybe even desirable to break free once you realize how conditioned you are. Good luck!

Why are there 54 comments to a woman's post in a MGTOW forum? That's how wells get poisoned, gentlemen. I reject this courtesy. Women DO NOT belong on this subreddit.

Wouldn't it be more intelligent to overcome and transcend the need for intimacy, intersexual roles, primal urges for protecting and providing, etc? I know that that's where true freedom lies.

Nihilism is a double edged sword. You can use it to reject the world and come back to God or vice-versa. It's ultimately the same and one thing, in cycles.

This is a feminist article written by a woman. Good luck with it being at least 50% objective. And I agree, this has nothing to do with MGTOW.

From what research I did (I'm planning on doing the same in the following years) the best option is buying a van and customizing it as you wish. Research it.

A counterargument to this is that not necessarily high resources alpha breed. It's the immigrants, third world animals that breed like crazy mostly. Any human with education knows that making too many children is not too smart, unless you are a breeder by conditioning. But the third world people are still in survival / reproducing mode.

I agree. I think this is the philosophical basis of MGTOW - putting yourself first, in spite of EVERYTHING, be it women, society, internal programming, societal pressures, etc. Easy to say, harder to do. But anyway, seems to me that you've got your foundation set up. Good for you.

Sexual relationships ARE a drug. All that dopamine and serotonine (if you get some "action") are literally making you high. It's the biological imperative in action - mother Nature trying to trick us into reproducing.

This is true, at a basic level. I think what he is asking is what it means to be a "masculine man", which is a very difficult question in today's modern age. It's even a more difficult question when it involves being respected/liked by others. I was just reading an article somewhere (won't link because I found it quite brainwashed) saying that "real men" are the ones who protect, provide and start a family. Afterwards, they can become leaders of their community and even creators. While I d…

I just realized something important. Women, through their natural extensive talking + intense connection realized through sex, dominate men because of the huge connection and socialization that provide for us. THIS is a big reason why men have such a hard time without them. The solution is to cultivate an extensive social circle with conscious, like-minded men.

Great arguments, I agree. I used to think of myself as not needing human connection and thriving as a loner. Recently, after a major breakup, I could feel the need for (especially close male) connection.

Possibly. Over the years I abused my body in extreme ways - ultramarathoning, weeks of fasting, travelling extensively, skipping sleep, literally burning myself out because I could (I'm only 29 so now I start feeling I'm not Superman anymore. Only recently I came to realize that it is a behavior that gets triggered so I NEED to stick to a healthy routine to lower the intensity and chances of that happening again.

I'm going through a very challenging period in my life for the last 6 months. I've noticed that they usually appear when I feel overstressed (physically and mentally), when there are a lot of stress factors in the same time in my life. There is definitely a genetic or some sort of mental predisposition towards this, as ever since I was 15 years old I had these thoughts in the instances I shared. Basically, I suffer so much internally (and on autopilot, even without identifying with those thought…
