The only way to handle it is to be the best version of yourself you can be. Be a good person who treats others well and you will rise above resentment. Some people will look for reasons to disparage you, hate you -- and that has nothing to do with who you are, unless you let it define you. Own yourself, don't let the labels people attempt to ascribe to you (black, white, asian, stupid, ugly) define who you are. Once you do that you will truly rise above it.

Don't give her feedback or blame her behavior. Keep it simple and succinct, but resolute and confident that you do not want to be with her anymore. Don't give her hope of reuniting in the future. You have goals, desires and they don't include her. Keep her on social media but block out everything she posts (easy to do on Facebook and Instagram). Don't comment her posts, don't view her stories, don't message her. Ignore her pleas for attention. Cut it clean. She will rage and you'll be the bad gu…

It is very hard to find people who share your history, interests, values and hobbies. Most friends check one of those boxes. The more boxes they check the better friends they are. I am scarily good as a loner but I hate how weird and uncomfortable it makes others who are extroverts and very social. Makes me uncomfortable with myself. But not as uncomfortable as spending time with people that I am not interested in.

What I was thinking. We all have examples of men we know whose choice in a partner did not lift him to be a better version of himself, but pulled him down as dead weight on his energy, money and time.

You are "juiced" -- that means you are on steroids? Mood swings and hormonal changes could be a big part of it. For the anxiety you might want to try some medical marijuana or indica edibles (pill form). you might be surprised at the calm. For the psychological side of it -- the only way I ever got over anxiety related to that -- was to fuck as many women as I could. As your N number gets higher you really naturally internalize abundance.

"Considering she has a boyfriend, how would you act?" Generally I respect boundaries. You want her to cheat/break up with her boyfriend so that you can fuck her? Then what? Seems like drama. Why not just game single girls?

Food for thought. I spent 15 years of my life in an office desk behind a computer for various corporations. Good salary but terrible life. Now I live and work internationally, remotely for a US company the past four years. My happiness has multiplied 10x during this time. The only downside being that I will forever be unable to return to an office.

Make something. Create something - whether it's with your hands, written, coded, art, photography, a Facebook Group, a garden, a new recipe that interests you. Make something. After that, make something else. Join a couple of random meetups. You will meet dozens of other people like you battling ennui. That will help normalize the process of self-actualization in your mind. create routines that help you grow. The gym is good - now up the regularity and intensity to spur additional growth. Get yo…

In my head I'd be counting the number of hits I had absorbed while backing away with my hands in the air trying to dissolve the situation, while being filmed on camera by a neutral third party. When the number got to 15 and she was still doing it I think I would take my own chain off and let the physical capabilities of the two parties regress towards the mean.

Great, positive perspective. This sub needs more messages like these. I've been living internationally and working remotely for four years. I am able to save money while living in great airbnbs world wide. This year I worked from Bora Bora, Croatia, Colombia, Hawaii, Mexico and now I am in Serbia heading to Kiev this weekend. American women can do whatever they want -- I couldn't really care less -- it doesn't affect me at all, and better yet I am able to avoid them completely.

I am a software engineer -- I started coding in college and have been doing it since then. I hope you guys understand making software is really interesting and not as hard as you might think it is. Everything you need to learn is available on the web. Beyond coding there are lots of industries that hire remote - marketing, social medi…

Totally agree with OP. It's the Brad Pitt test -- she wouldn't flake on Brad Pitt, but she flaked on you. Totally fine not wanting to spend the energy convincing her she shouldn't have. Move on. Women are a dime a dozen -- you aren't unless you validate her treatment of you as such.

FYI - be careful about testosterone replacement -- once you start supplementing it your body reduces it's own production to compensate -- making you somewhat dependent on it. This is according to Robb Wolf. If you want to increase your T naturally -- there are some things you can do. Intermittent fasting, heavy squatting deadlifts in the mornings while fasted (a huge increaser) - as well as diet. Green, dried pumpkin seeds (zinc), brazil nuts (selenium) are the building blocks of Testosterone.

A different idea: Take the high road with Bob at every opportunity. Avoid awkwardness - say hello to him when you see him with a casual wave, ignore his weird behavior completely, make him feel like it is invisible to you. Never. Does anyone call out Clint Eastwood for doing what he wants? And who the fuck cares if Jennifer questions my motivations? If she does that to you a proper response is "I'd rather do what I want to do." which begets the follow up : "What do you want to do?" and then that's where you insert what you actually want to do (and it's just fine if it doesn't involve her). If you don't actually want to do anything then that's a problem -- and she's taken the lead from you and decided to lead the s…

Some insight as someone who has fought that battle as well: that drive you recognize as a weakness also understand is a strength. I'll give some of my experience: If you get a raging hard on in the morning upon waking up (or if it wakes you up) then your T levels are great! This is what everyone between 14-~40 should be achieving. Your T levels are highest in the morning so if you are considering getting them checked (any general practitioner can do it) it will be fasted in the early AM. Good point. The only thing I'd change is the "marketing professor confirms" part. While I agree with the point you are expressing I just hate the notion that in a lecture environment a professor can "confirm" something. At best he will present facts, ideas, information, knowledge and critical thinking to you for consumption -- it's your job to decide for yourself whether it is valid. In the case of facts this is much easier. It's also part of the reason you are going to college to make the diffe…

Hey OP - good message. I grew up raised by my mother and have learned about myself that I have a hard time telling people no. TLDR "Memento Mori" Additionally something the OP might enjoy regarding Ovid's "carpe diem" which is usually mis-translated as "seize the day" -- actually it means "pluck the day" (carpe being the verb to harvest - like a grape) -- the point of that particular poem is that no one knows when death (personified as a fucking scary god of death) will come for you. True! Believe it or not I had a Tinder date last night (and we banged) - I had used this tactic on her of calling (twice before the date). I did the same thing to a blue pill friend who ended up marrying a terrible, controlling, sickly, infantile woman. My insistence that he could do better destroyed our friendship. It was for the best though because I couldn't respect someone who (as I saw it) couldn't respect themselves enough to not enter into a life of slavery. I'm sure that makes me a terrible friend; saw it (and still do) as having standards for my friends -- even if they refused to. Your situation is a little different but s…

It's good too - but the real magic from lean gains is intermittent fasting. Primal (www.marksdailyapple.com) can teach you all of that. Be warned: It is a very deep rabbit hole.

As you know you'll make more "gains" by losing 20 lbs. Highly recommend going down the rabbit hole of Paleo/primal/ketogenic diet. It is to the diet what TRP is to women/men. Great job btw - keep it up!

good points. This came up last night - first date with a woman who is about to make partner in her law firm -- she'll probably be making more money than me eventually. Cool girl and fun -- it seems to me that in this circumstance asking to split would have demonstrated that my SMV was lower than hers. /gerbiling Ended up making out with her outside my place at the end which wasn't bad; if I was more aggressive might have been able to red pill her inside but meh no hurry. Still swallowing I guess…

I attended a seminar from Esther at Mark Sisson's PrimalCon. She is very good at what she does. She has at least one book which is very good.

If you can stand her... For me I would never want to be around someone that revolted me; If you're into it though give it a try! As long as you are safe about it it will give you good experience.

I've been there dude - done the same thing with a girl for 4 years. I felt like a privileged asshole because she came from a shit family and ended up thinking it was my fault she came from a bad situation. You need to find the strength to be honest with her that you no longer want this relationship. I wish I had done that back then.

I think you need to find more of yourself before you will be comfortable seeking others.

here in denver if police respond to a domestic violence call they are mandated to arrest someone/take them away. I guess it's supposed to reduce danger? I would still consider you fortunate for not having to spend the night in jail.
