Nice try at conflating mass shootings with suicides and gang violence which are a completely separate problem [Now try again with the real chart] (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4d/Total_Deaths_in_US_Mass_Shootings_1982-2021.jpg)

Unsolicited word of advice: no one will ever love you as much as you can love yourself. If you are starved for love, read up some literature and practice self-love. It's way superior to the love other people can give you AND it can come completely unconditionally from yourself.

Some people managed to achieve all 4 examples I listed + more so I don't see how any of them are unrealistic as long as you put your mind to it

Q4Men: if you want to leave behind a legacy, why not take more direction action? Having kids is one of the most ineffective ways to do so. In a couple of generations your original genes will be completely washed out. Or... You can bankroll a school that will bear your name and help tens of thousands of kids build a brighter future for themselves. You can create an artistic masterpiece that will be admired for centuries to come. You can make a scientific breakthrough and become one of the giants …

Passion projects are good for getting a look into how unfiltered creativity works. So you want to find really really underground art projects by women. After a while you'll have the realization that one's gender has minimal impact on one's personality.

People don't understand what free speech entails. They interpret it very literally and try to "gotcha" law enforcement when they get busted for spreading vile, hateful rhetoric as if thousands of smartasses didn't try that already. Fortunately we have educated judges who know how the law works.

Finding things I didn't like about my appearance and changing them. What I'm saying is that people are willing to overlook absolutely glaring character flaws as long as someone is pretty. Just look at all the people pining after fictional villains. Lucifer? He's hot so he's just a misunderstood edgy boy. Ramsay Bolton? Same. Sephiroth? Same. And this spills over into the real life too. There's way, way many people getting away with awful shit just because they look nice. So I'm postulating that …

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is quite clear on the matter. You can't contort any of the rights or freedoms enshrined in it to cause harm to other rights or freedoms. In this case: using your freedom of speech to spew hateful rhetoric about minorities when one of the chief aims of the Declaration is the recognition of equality of all is quite clearly incompatible with the spirit of the Declaration. It's quite literally the same as misinterpreting the right to self defense as the righ…

People don't understand what freedom of speech is. Freedom of speech is not freedom to violate other people's basic freedoms, such as the freedom not to have someone espousing their edgy "racial / gender realism" theories in your direction.

Childfree divorce statistics are busted. Raw stats make it seems like childless couples are divorcing at higher rates but what's actually happening is that one of the partners in a couple decides that they suddenly want kids = R.I.P. Actual childfree couples tend to be happier and divorce less.

That's such a bizarre worldview. That's like saying people who play sports can't experience camaraderie because they get replaced if they suffer and injury and stop being able to play. Sometimes people let you go BECAUSE they love you and know that you're not a good fit together and that you will be better off with someone else. There's a reason people suffer depression after breakups and it's not because they are scheming Machiavellian bastards. People can and do continue to love their exes for…

I get the impression that "traditional" people are terrified of the choices they have made and need constant validation from other "traditional" people to reassure them that they are on the right path. People deviating from the lifescript are deeply troubling to them because their very existence means that one does not need to live a cookie-cutter lifestyle to be happy and fulfilled.

Luxury, money and the ability to travel are all about long-term happiness. Humans have the capacity for reasoning and can decide whether they want to reproduce or not. The desire to reproduce is nowhere near as universal as you think it is.

2nd best tip is learning to lucid dream. Most people never realize that they have a ready-to-go VR machine inside their heads. Is life really that bad if you can spend several hours every night playing out absolutely ANY scenario you can think of? Lots of people who do it end up reporting a heightened quality of life and less depressive thoughts.

The answer is a tense pelvic floor. Most people have shit posture from sitting all day long and the hip flexor / glute disbalance causes the pelvic floor to be chronically tense and constantly signaling the brain that it's "showtime". Lots of people who have gone to physiotherapists for pelvic floor issues have noted that learning to relax it has drastically reduced their libido.

Framing people in terms of the "value" they provide is so inherently unattractive that no one would want to be in a relationship with a person like that when they know they're going to be viewed as a collection of "valuable" benefits, not a human being.

I really don't get people who are anti-abortion for religious reasons. Do they really think that an omnipotent being in such a vast a universe would care about what some hairy primate is doing on a faraway mote of cosmic dust? It's such a strange perspective.

Forcing someone to undergo a medical procedure to save the life of another is morally reprehensible. We don't involuntarily cut out people's organs to save other people. In the best case, giving birth means risking permanent nerve, bone and soft tissue damage for a woman. In the worst case it means risk of death. Subjecting someone to grievous harm is not the moral thing to do. The right to life does not override the right to bodily autonomy.

50 years of social progress erased because of salty old men who have nothing better to do than try to control women's bodies. And men wonder why women feel anxious around them when a non-insignificant fraction of them want to take away women's rights over biotruths, "morals" or really any other excuse the ycan come up with.

You always have the choice of not imposing this "hell" on yourself. Enjoy your life, work on yourself, demolish your goals and most importantly have fun. If someone comes along and you establish a connection - then great, dating it is. If it doesn't happen - your life can be great and fulfilling without following the lifescript. I swear all of the grievances that people have with dating can be solved by stopping trying to force something that isn't happening.
