There is the objective truth that we all understand but objective truth is unattainable since we are animals with subjective perception of our world. The other truth is a Darwinian Truth, if something dies off then it is less 'true' than if it's still alive as time progresses. That's how science works, we have an idea and test it with experiments, if the theory doesn't match experiment we 'kill' the idea and try another.
