The key to doing this actually lies in the release. By blaming her you're also pushing her away. I think this point is key here in relation to this. You don't validate then keep pursuing immediately. Push her away playfully, disengage her, and engage another group or girl. I've done this at house parties, the bar, etc, to solid results. Though I agree about ALL of these examples being validating. It can always be her fault for just about anything, and validation doesn't need to be a part of it. …

I do. I know it well. No male influence at all. I was raised by my mother and grandmother. I had a sister as well, no brother. Nobody knows who my father is, and he doesn't know I exist. On top of that, I was raised in what is most likely the most restrictive form of Christianity. If you want to talk about dirt good for growing beta, I was planted there. Trial by fire. I may not know for sure, still internalizing the pill. Here's what I see from OP's story however - There's a lot of Powertalk in play. Women understand reading between the lines. She knew when he posted to Facebook exactly what he was doing, and that he wasn't going to take it laying down. This was her opportunity to cut her losses and try another tactic. Could also have been her Sister talking some sense into her, but I'm not convinced that's incredibly likely.

Every time this topic comes up, Bo Burnham's viewpoint on it is my personal favorite. "For every dollar that a man makes, a woman makes 70 cents. That doesn't make sense. That's not fair. The Man's only left with 30."

This, this, and more this. This is my first comment here on TRP though I've been lurking around for about 3 months. This exact post was what I needed at this stage of attempting to swallow the pill. Been struggling with this feeling for awhile, and I'm aware I'm feeling it, but can't seem to kill it. Coming from a fatherless(No idea who he even is, Ma was a big fan of the CC back in the day), Mother and Sister being my only family, Christian background, I would be hard pressed to find someone wh…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
