| 2 | My boyfriend is getting ready to file for divorce…Watch out. In CA, alimony (spousal support) is for 1/2 the length pf the marriage IF the marriage is less than 10 years. Monthly child support (and spousal support) would be based off of your base salary, with periodic payments made based on the amount of your commission.
