Child support and default primary custody for mothers stems from the traditionalist idea of women as homemakers and caretakers, and traditionalist ideology like this has been the enemy of feminism for decades. If you aren’t sold on this being the goal of feminism, then I suggest you do what I would and declare yourself a feminist, while maintaining the goal of abolishing all gender roles and expectations. They want to abolish gender roles and stereotypes such that there is no “power of men,” nor any “privileges of women.” There would only be the power and privileges afforded to any individual, regardless of their sex.
