A boss is just an example. The majority of people have one, and a lot of them make your days hell. Everyone deals with their stressors in their own way. For some it’s doing something social and being around people. For me, it’s being on my own, with my own thoughts, and going on a five mile hike. That’s how I recharge. Especially after having to spend hours and days entertaining clients and socializing.

And with all of that you still don’t get it. Which confirms something else. You simply just have a bias, and think that just because you went through some shit and processed it in a certain way, then it’s going to work for everybody.

See, that reply tells me everything I need to know. You haven’t been truly been through some shit. Or that you don’t have someone in your life that you can only deal with in doses. A boss or client that makes you hate your job. Sleep doesn’t change how you feel about dealing with these people and situations.

That is the perfect definition. For an introvert, being around people and socializing can be draining. An extrovert loves all of that. They thrive off of it. The introvert, after these types of interactions, needs time to recharge mentally. So they recharge their energy by chilling on their own. Enjoying their thoughts and their own company. It’s more than just sleeping. Sleeping does nothing.
