Good for you. Arranged marriages have pretty good success rates.

I think it says that if you hang around a sports car trying to use it to attract chicks you will attract a certain type of chick. Who knew?!

Yeah, I get what you are saying. The friends I am talking about I have known since we were all about 5 years old - TGP thinks my experiences are not the norm and girls having friends for that long is also not the norm. I can except that it definitely is not like this for everyone but when you look at the amount of people who are married (just about 50% although declining In the UK, but with another 30% in co-habiting relationships) I still think that Most people can and do find LTR's without too…

You seem to suppose that snagging a good-looking girl/good girlTM one's own age has been a reasonably likely option to begin with. I think it is a reasonably likely option. All I have is anecdotal evidence to back this up, but as this is equivalent to field reports, you will never convince me otherwise. All my friends (all around 35 years old now) come from families where their parents are still married. (Relationships that have lasted 35 years +) All my friends got with their husbands/wives in …

Excellent post as always Coratoad. Beginning to get a bit of a reddit crush! Of course women still love men. Women will always love men. Things are horribly skewed in women's favour at the moment but I think that TRP will cause as many problems as it solves in a few years. What happens when all these young twenty men hit their thirties and decide they do want an LTR after all? That actually some companionship would be nice? 'Cos it's gonna happen. That's when the shit will really hit the fan. Al…

Yes he does have to change things, and in my other comments I said as much. But we all know there is absolutely nothing he can do to fix the relationship he is in now. I think Xemnas was trying to say that he will always be a beta Bux for all women so he might as well work on making himself more sexually attractive to a woman who has never found him attractive to begin with. I agree with /u/susandeath in that that ship has sailed. In fact, it sounds like it was never docked to begin with. He wou…

Yeah absolutely. Agree with others on the thread. He needs to next her but then work on improving himself and understanding what women find genuinely sexy and attractive in a man so as to avoid the same situation again.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/15 02:01 PM

I honestly don't know Xemnas. Maybe you were in a relationship longer than 3 months, and there was more that was worth at least trying to fight for? Think about it - they have been together for 3 months and she ALREADY does not find him sexually attractive. This should be the honeymoon period where they can't keep their hands off each other, he shouldn't be struggling with this at such an early point in the relationship IMO. This relationship will never work if it is at this point already. Hopel…

Come on Xemnas, stop projecting your own worries on other people. Just because someone is a Beta Bux for one woman does not mean he will be a beta Bux for all women. This was his first relationship, he was a virgin before and over-weight. He has now lost the weight and has read RP. Even if he does not agree with it all he now has a better idea of what women want and how he can stay sexually attractive to a woman. I agree that this all sounds made up, but on the off chance it is not - this boat h…

Yeah, I have to say your strategy for LTR's sounds like a really good one and it was an interesting OP. Can't remember seeing this discussed on PPD before.

Ah, ok a 12-16ish girl asking out a guy friend she has a crush on was not the scenario I was imagining. Feel free not to answer my next questions if you find them too personal but we obviously have a very different outlook on this which has made me curious. You say you have gotten much better at asking people out - is this generally still guys you know quite well from social circles and do you outright say the words e.g. 'Do you want to go out for a drink with me sometime?' Or will you also cold…

That's really sad. I honestly don't know how you could help it. Every time I've had a pathetic crush, the urge to say something has just risen and risen until it's torn through me and blurts out uncontrollably. For better or for worse. Often for worse. If it has often been for worse than I'm not feeling too bad about never approaching, lol. (Extra question - did you blurt it out after having one too many? :) ) Only scenario I could imagine myself doing it! For me it's the humiliation of someone …

Yes he is in the leading, active role. But that's what we want. So we do the (using your words) covert IOI and wait to see whether he approaches. If he doesn't then he either doesn't find you attractive or he doesn't have the nerve. Either way, problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/15 07:02 PM

Really good reply. Hits a lot of this one on the head IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/15 06:50 PM

Yeah I agree here. I think women will not openly approach but will do all those subtle social manipulation things that we are so good at to get ourselves noticed by the right guy,so that HE will approach.

I really don't think it is just the fact that women are approached a lot and therefore don't need to do the approaching. I have never approached a man. NEVER. And through my teens and very early twenties there were quite a few guys that I had a crush on and I would have loved them to approach me. But despite a pathetic crush I still didn't approach. The idea literally makes me shudder. I actually agree partly with /u/pembayliss here. I think some of it is risk adversion and some is hating to be …

Have to say this whole thread has been a HUGE eye opener and one of the most interesting on PPD for ages. I am absolutely astonished that RP males literally cannot comprehend that women's best sexual strategies may also be 'amoral'. RP literally is formed on advice being amoral and instead sticks to the BEST strategy. It even says no moralising, no tone policing, we do what works, don't care if it offends you and yet all through this thread a whole bunch of RP males are getting their panties in …

First off thank you so much for this post. This is something that rarely gets talked about around here yet is something which I think happens to most women because a lot of attraction for us is much more than just looks. I think some men look hot. I have never looked at a man who was hot and immediately wanted sex with him. Just doesn't work that way. I am much more attracted to a man that I have got to know a bit and because of this I have found loads of men more attractive after I got to know …

She still craved MORE than just sex with these guys. She knew she was not capable of a relationship at the time because of personal issues, but she sought out a connection with the guys, for the most part. She was not banging alphas. Yeah, never understood this part of RP. CC alpha widows. Can understand women pining after 'the man who got away' but pining after ONSs with alphas? Most women say that ONS sex is pretty crap compared to sex in a LTR. RP says that party girls who have one night stan…

Well I am red pill aware and think much of the theory rings true but I certainly don't think I'm an RPW so I can't answer for them, but I am not worried. It's definitely a possibility with all men that as they get older they may start to look for younger women but I feel as secure as anybody can be. You are going to tell someone that how they think about their own body is wrong? How would you react if I told you that you are not bi-sexual, that it is all in your mind and you should work to change that? Think you could do it? Think that you would want to? Think you could live the rest of your life being straight without being incredibly unhappy?

You cannot change your brain like that to become a different human. If you are a straight man born in a female body how exactly do you reconcile your brain to that? A friend of mine is post op and he couldn't have a sexual relationship with girls. The thought of someone else touching the parts of his body that to him 'we're not him' was mortifying and repulsive. Think about this carefully. In order to become 'post-op' you are talking years of therapy, hormone injections and long, dangerous and s…

Yes, your husband can develop wife goggles but it depends a lot on you and the effort you are willing to put in. First of all you sound as though you are unsure of whether your husband ever found you that attractive? That would concern me. Putting that aside there is a lot you can do to improve yourself. First of all make sure you do not let yourself go after having the baby. Give yourself time to recover from childbirth but then exercise to lose the weight and get your pre-pregnancy figure back…

I think South Korea is quite unique in this. It's all tied into big business and prostitution. Basically you don't do business in South Korea without hookers. However, I find the 1 in 5 women thing difficult to reconcile with everything else I know about S Korea and it's attitudes towards men, women and gender issues. Women smoking on the street was illegal until fairly recently ( and still frowned upon), women mainly still don't work past a certain age and certainly not once they are married or…

And as usual you apply reasons to things that aren't there. My brother left the country because he was a useless drug-addled waste of space that realised this and wanted to break the behaviour. And I was asking for examples of women who went to university to catch a college educated man rather than going to further their OWN careers or because they didn't really know what they wanted to do.

Ending up with your college sweetheart does not mean that that was the reason they went to uni. Just as many people we know didn't end up with people they were dating at uni. I think you have the reason men choose high paying careers and women don't completely wrong. And let me be clear; yet again. You only mentioned that women go to college to get a college educated husband in your first comment. No other reasons. And don't bullshit with 'I was trying to be brief'. I might have got a 'real one' but as I was only there to catch a college educated husband and work for a few years before having kids I shouldn't have wasted my time working 9-5 for 4 years while you completed a 'STEM' degree that required you to attend about 3 hours of lectures a week. I'll be sure to advise all women I encounter in the future to only ever go for 'under-water basket weaving' as anything else will just waste valuable time they could be spending hanging out at bars, riding the CC…

Bullshit. Bullshit that the reason women go to uni is to catch a college educated husband. There are a whole host of reasons as to why women go to uni and what courses they choose. Trying to catch themselves a husband is very low down on that list, if at all. Why didn't you state all the other reasons in your first comment? Why go only with 'it's because women are trying to catch a college educated husband?' Name me any women you know who did that. Because if that is the main reason, as one woul…

Unfortunately you can't get away from predetermination that easily. Although atoms in the individual case can't be described to full accuracy as to speed and position.... Atoms in the aggregate can. I think /u/fleetingwish says it best: Women aren't hypergamous because they branch swing, they branch swing because they are hypergamous. All women want a more attractive partner, but not all women branch swing, or are even dissatisfied with their current partner. But it is the man's duty to stay attractive to his wife to keep that from happening. Just the same way it's the woman's duty to keep the man's interest if she doesn't want his interest to sway to the next pretty thing that walks by.

No. Absolutely AWALT. But I see AWALT as a spectrum not a clear cut yes or no. So some women are more prone to behave like this whereas other women would only behave like this in very specific situations. Because all people are different.

As the situation stands with me and my husband now, no of course not. I think this applies to most women in extreme situations only. Sure there is a small percentage of the female population who will cheat on their partner just 'cos someone hot came along. Same goes for men. However, I think most women would only cheat if a hot guy came along because their current relationship is and has been awful for a long time. I think in their head they are already 'sold out' of the relationship. I think th…

Yeah, that's not AWALT. The RP consensus seems to be that women do not love men the way men WANT to be loved. And yes, I do think that's true. Women MAY look to branch swing if their needs are not being met in their current relationship. RP also says that even if a women's needs are being met if a really hot man comes along she will branch swing. I think this is unlikely. I think MOST women may briefly think 'what if...' but won't do anymore than that if they are happy in their current relations…

Although I accept many tenets of RP, most days I still find it rather depressing - especially when I Reddit and find myself being smacked over the head with hypergamy, solipsism, and women being called sluts and children time and time again. I also find men being alpha or beta just as depressing and wearing at times. Which is why, with this context, your last sentence is probably one of the most uplifting and precious things you have ever said to me. Thank you :)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/15 08:33 AM

And to add to the original OP it does matter A LOT that men are beta bux because those guys are in marriages/ relationships/single and are getting no sex. That is why being a beta bux matters. If beta bux's were getting laid no man would give a shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/15 09:23 AM

I do think RP hasn't quite nailed the whole women 'settling' for beta bux thing. I think women do, but like you say, the process for how they get there is not quite how RP describes. The way RP describes it just doesn't feel right, like a lot of the rest of RP theory does. My husband and I have discussed this often. Having said that I am yet to think of a more 'correct' way of describing the beta bux thing.

Thank you for your reply - it really helped me understand what you were saying. Yeah, I wouldn't have bothered getting married just for financial gains either. TBH my husband and I only got married when we decided to start a family. If we hadn't had kids I'm not sure it would have happened. Still think many people feel a drive for LTR's even when they don't want kids though. Don't actually think you sound cynical at all. If that is how you feel about sex/relationships then your attitude seems qu…

Ok, not sure I understand. So what would the other practical considerations be for pair bonding if you don't have kids? I don't know your age but I do think the need/want for an LTR probably increases with age for men as well as women. Yes, I mean a long term commitment. My husband and I were together for 10 years before kids. I believe we stay together because of sex and because of 15 years of emotional connection and shared experiences that the sex has bought. I think that continues as long as…

Under your system what is the protection for men who did not use fear and coercion if she alleges that he did ? How is he supposed to defend himself from that charge, except for saying "I didn't" ? Doesn't this extend the right to any woman to ruin a mans life, anytime she likes, by false accusation ?

How is following your genes a 'wishy-washy' concept? If you believe that the need to fuck is following your genes and is not a 'wishy washy' concept, then why is following your genes to pair bond a 'wishy washy' concept? I think the problems arise with 'pair-bonding' because at any stage in the relationship something could happen to affect how effective you think your partner is at it. If you are pair-bonding for life there are always going to be times when your partner acts/responds in a way th…

Your kids are young. They will only understand sentences/phrases at the 1 or 2 key word level. I would say something like 'sorry means not doing it again.' Sorry as a concept of taking responsibility for your actions is abstract and something that at age 3 they will just not get. They just do not yet have the skills, so saying sorry will mean little. However they do need to learn what society expects you to do/say when you cock up and saying sorry is part of that. The only way you can teach youn…

Your genes are not rational or all-knowing. You still feel the need to fuck even though you use contraceptives. Your genes don't know the little swimmers are being zapped and will never make it. It's the same with the pair bond IMO. Your genes still give you the drive and 'pleasure' from pair bonding even if you never intend to actually have kids.

Read another article about this 'tribe' in NY and that stated that the women only receive their bonus or all of their bonus if they perform as expected. It also stated that these women go over and beyond most SAHMs. While their husbands fundraise millions, they organise charitable dinners etc that raise thousands, as well as being those helicopter mums that push their kids in to a hundred different activities in a week, whilst looking like someone from a glossy mag. It all seems to be about keep…

Agreed. And it's one of the things I don't fully agree with about RP. But I think seeing everything in black and white is a self-preservation strategy for RP men. It's hard to give 'followable' advice if it is all ifs, buts, but if this, then this...etc. It is much easier to give generalisms. It's up to RP men to then adapt/take what works for them in their situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 08:14 PM

Fair enough. I just think that the older you get the more you see the world in shades of grey rather than clear cut black and white.

Just remembered you are 19. So as well as the economic situation in Greece ex-boyfriends wouldn't have had more than a part time job due to still being at school. So the job/resources thing would not have the same resonance with you. If only we had a time machine to travel to the future. You may or may not feel different when you are 30!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 07:56 PM

You didn't answer the question. Would you find that man attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 05:52 PM

I did say sensible!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 05:50 PM

HSW. I know this is a bizarre question given Greece's economic climate but think of the resources thing this way - would you be attracted to a man who was not willing to get a job, lived off the state and basically sat around all day. (If he lived in an economic climate where getting a job was fairly easy!) Would these character traits attract you, or would it immediately put you off? Wouldn't it stop you from looking at that man as a possible LTR?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 03:52 PM

I don't think anyone sensible says they will immediately stop loving their husbands once they show weakness or inability to provide. It's about long term traits that will gradually wear down the women's respect for her SO. Take TGP and I. If he lost his job tomorrow would I walk? Of course not. If he cried? No, of course not. If he lost his job and had no prospects and this lasted a long time then I still don't think I would leave him but it would effect how I felt about him, even if that feelin…

Partly, but no. They love them for a great many reasons, each will vary for each women, but we acknowledge that part of what we love about them is their ability to provide and protect.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 03:41 PM

Again, it is not pretending. Hormones are what makes you feel 'love'.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/15 03:38 PM

Neither. They genuinely love their husbands. They are just aware that love is conditional. Doesn't stop it being love.

Trouble is I am so emotionally abused and insecure I can't figure out whether to find another RP guy to carry on abusing me or to find a complete beta bux and carry on the abuse by screwing him over. /r/PurplePillDebate28/05/15 05:50 PM

Yes, yes, yes. Preaching to the converted. What I was disagreeing with was the fact that women do it out of habit. Some do. A lot don't. None of my friends do. It isn't a habit. Frankly if it was a habit, I would probably find it less irksome and time-consuming than I do.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/15 05:47 PM
7

Ok. If women wearing make-up pisses you off that much you know what you need to do? Convince the rest of the fucking MALE population that females who wear make-up are less attractive and then women will stop wearing it quick smart. Don't bitch about something that women do to attract men because men find it attractive!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/15 05:27 PM
1

No, your understanding of the analogy is wrong. Serious question - why does women wearing make-up bother you so much? If a women wears natural looking make-up, there isn't much difference. If a women wears lots of make-up it's obvious as hell. It's hardly an underhand or deceitful tactic. A women who has comedic surgery? There, you may have a point. If you dislike women wearing make-up so much go for women who don't. There are plenty out there, even today.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/15 05:18 PM
1

What does that matter in relation to my point that women wear make-up when just meeting with the girls because of sexual competition? Of course it all rolls back to sex, but you said it was habit and I disagreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/15 05:04 PM

Competition. I put make up on when I meet up with the girls because I don't want to feel like the ugly fucker of the group. It is definitely not habit.

Being emotional as a man makes you weak when you do it a lot. Let's face it as a woman you don't want to be with a man who cries more than you. I think RP tells men to not be emotional in a coverall way because it is an easier and more effective strategy than saying 'you can be emptional sometimes, but how much and for what reasons will be different for each women.' That advise will help no-one. Because society has told men that being in touch with 'their feminine side' is good, some men do it t…

No, absolutely. If men have absolutely no sexual desire for you - even a ONS - then they might be your friend. I just think this is quite rare. Really? Are you really being honest with yourself? I think most women have had at least 1 male orbiter in their life. And in their heart of hearts, even though they only wanted friendship all women KNOW the man wants more. You are saying that out of a group of friends some of the guys want to fuck you. Have you flat out told them that isn't going to happen and that you are not interested? 'Cos if not you are leading them on. Is that something a 'friend' does?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 02:37 PM

You really need to grow up. Please tell me you realise the connotations of what you are proposing? And you do realise that just as many women as men are guilty of it? Why are you not capable of taking responsibility for your own actions? You took the chance of sleeping with a random guy who you didn't know and he fucked you and fucked off? Big deal. Your description of dominant men I wouldn't get on board with either.

Erm, if you agree with all of this you do realise you are basically RP don't you? I get you don't agree with the treat women like children thing(can't imagine many women would) but there are plenty of RP men that don't go that route either? Hence the Captain/FO thing?

Yes, agreed. Very hard to look at the world WITHOUT analysing it for RP now isn't it?! But it's like first learning to drive, everything takes concentration and effort. It depends on the level of dread. Soft negging is just flirting/teasing. That is just a healthy part of any sexual relationship. So yes, that works, even when I know exactly what TGP is doing. Low level dread again is just 'natural' stuff. Getting fit, dressing better, having your own life and hobbies. Again, all good stuff, nothing manipulative or hideous. And again, yes, it works. No. How could a women possibly ever know? It's like asking a man whether he could ever understand what a multiple orgasm feels like. Men, being men, don't talk about the fact that sex for them is about feeling loved/needed/valued etc. and that it is a 'need' not a 'want'. I think women talk about this with friends in the same way they talk about all aspects of sex with friends. But in my experience it is usually young women who have only been sexually active a short while that feel the need to discuss sex with friends in this kind of detail. I think it's just a way for young women to work out what's 'normal'. Older women saying a 7inch dick is small?! I would want to know how they went about choosing the women for the video.

I was thinking of MRP not TRP. And everything is self-Interested. I don't think you can equate the behaviour of an adult towards another adult with the behaviour of an adult towards a child. And it depends on how the child was 'criticised'. One of a parents main jobs is to criticise a child. How else do they learn not to do socially unacceptable things? It's about the way it is done. Absolutely it's extreme, but the 'I would sacrifice anything for...' Lines always make me think the person hasn't thought the response through. /r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 05:48 PM
3

Hmmm... I also think constant nagging is more damaging but think you underestimate the effect of constantly being ignored. And it's not just the occasional 'sorry Hun, can you repeat that?' It's the repercussions days/weeks later when the woman thinks something has been discussed and arranged only to find out the man knows nothing about it and is unhappy the decision has already been made or made the way it has! And come on, this is not occasional either!

Erm, RP. RP men, through introspection come to this conclusion all the time. Not sure I would say they recognise their behaviour as abusive, but then I don't think the women's behaviour in this example is abusive either. Hate the way 'abuse' is tacked on to any behaviour that someone doesn't like. on MRP men get torn to shreds all the time for complaining about their wife's behaviour when they are themselves to blame. Men also confess to shit behaviour and take criticism for it and try to change…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 05:24 PM

But do you think this behaviour in men is as destructive as nagging and critising?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 05:12 PM
3

Yeah, I think you are probably right. Constantly having to repeat myself irritates me, making me more likely to go into nag mode over something that I would otherwise shrug off. I don't think that would directly equate to more sex for the man, but the man replying first time when a women speaks would certainly keep the women in a more generally amenable mood with the man, making sex more likely in combination with other factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 05:08 PM

I do support my husband and try to put him first but there are limits. I suppose I am thinking more of things that would stop me from starting down the road to a relationship to begin with. Eg the guy being racist. But What if the guy murdered or raped someone? Still stay with him then?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 04:53 PM

Bingo! Many upvotes to you. I don't know whether all men are like this but /u/thegreasypole certainly is! Certainly is frustrating as hell, but not sure it's as destructive? What do you think? As /u/thegreasypole epitomises this I'll leave it to him to do a little introspection and see where he thinks it weighs in compared to constant nagging and criticising! Gonna enjoy this!..
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 04:48 PM

Really?! That sounds like the hallmark of an abuse victim. Sacrifice your family? Your friends? Your beliefs? Things you hold dear and are important to you? Are you in a relationship with a man you feel that way about now? God sake, don't tell him that!

I am sure you are right. I am sure there are some women who would read this, recognise their own behaviour but rationalise it away. I think there are other women who would read this and think 'shit, I do this.' And would then put in some effort to curb/ change their behaviour. I know some women would behave in the second way 'cos I am one of them. Read MMSLP, saw this behaviour described, saw it in myself and am trying to stop it.

I think all women should be made to read this. I think this behaviour in all women is present to varying degrees. I also think that the simple act of reading this would make most women re-think their behaviour and attitude and that their SO's would be an awful lot happier. And I keep trying to think of a male alternative - what do a lot of men do in LTR's that is really unacceptable behaviour? Bit embarrassed at this point to be female 'cos I really can't think of one!

My husband and I were together 10/11 years before we got married. Eventually we got married just before we started a family. Didn't feel the need to marry him, but bringing kids in to the relationship changed that. As you get older, and if you decide you want kids I am sure marriage will seem like a very good idea. Security, stability, respectability. You'll have to ask him whether his reasons for marrying at that point are the same. (Although I am sure there will be some sarcastic reply along t…

Don't actually think I'm an outlier. My husband does. I honestly think MRP in particular has a skewed view of women because of the kind of men who found it. If you read posts on MRP I am sure you spend a lot of the time being outraged at the way they speak about their wives and the other half thinking "your wife did what?!! I would never behave like that and what's more I can only think of one woman I know who would." MRP's find themselves there because they married women who should never have b…

I also feel like RPW do themselves a disservice with how harsh they are on new members. This is the exact reason I have never posted or commented on their site. They are far harsher in their modding than MRP or TRP. With MRP or TRP the mods will give newbies a couple of chances to correct/change/ take advice on board. RPW just delete. If they just altered their mind set a little and were a little more lenient with newbies they would have a lot more women on board. I know their aim is not to chan…

Because the men that 'provide' aren't turning them on. I wrote that women need both. If they aren't getting enough of both, eventually they will become unhappy and may look elsewhere.

Not a feminist. RP wife actually. And I agree that feminism now has nothing to do with equality. But while you just want the best situation for men, I am interested in getting as close to fair as we can for both men and women. A hopeless task? Probably.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/15 05:55 PM

Yeah, knew this would be your reply. I am interested in a system that is fairer for everyone. You are only interested in a situation which is good for you. You are as selfish as 'the woman that have been doing this for the last 100 years.' Fine. In that case, hah ha, screw you. Sucks for you. All good for women. Ain't likely to change anytime soon either.

Absolutely most people don't say this to women who have abortions. I said in an earlier post that I can see the current state of affairs sucks for men. And although I absolutely agree that women should also be more responsible, there is still the arguement that women should have the ultimate say over what happens to their body and this includes pregnancy. No-one but you can make you have a vasectomy. And child support is not always a crippling price for men to pay in the UK. If the man is not wo…

Ok. We do actually have something like this in the UK. If both mother and father sign ( and it does have to be both), waiving the father's right to any contact etc than that also waives his right to pay child support. The mother of my Godson did exactly this after she kept a baby because the guy actually wanted to keep it (she was 18 and unsure). He then walked out about 6 months later, never to return. What happens when the pregnancy was accidental? Woman wants to keep baby, father doesn't. Gir…

Yes genetics, but still several reasons tied in to genetics - not just one. Enjoy!

If a woman gets pregnant and doesn't want to keep it she can abort or adopt. If a woman chooses to keep the baby the father has to pay child support even if he wanted to have baby aborted/adopted. I get that this is unfair. But what alternative is there? Men cannot get pregnant and a woman has ultimate right over what happens to her body. Same for men. Honest question - what's the solution? How would you make this fairer for men?

Mate choice in a 5 year old? I am sure a woman's need to 'choose' her mate comes in to it for a girl, although I am sure she would only experience this as 'he's hurting me/ I'm scared kind of feeling'. I definitely don't think that's the only thing going on. A 5 year old is not yet sexually mature and hormones/sexual development have not yet happened and so an intimate act of sexual assault is going to terrify a child as they have the feeling of not knowing what the hell is happening to them (Be…

Sigh. REALLY?! This is why I wanted to end the conversation. You have run out of genuine issues with RP and rather than concede defeat you fall back on the tried and tested RP condones rape thing. I have read the theory, the books and not just the sub. Bet you haven't. And IT ALL states that it does not approve or condone anything illegal and that obviously includes rape. And it specifically states a hard no is a hard no. I am really sorry for what happened to you, but this is the reason a huge …

Actually it's a bit of a myth that preggo women need to eat a lot more than normal. An extra slice or 2 of bread a day pretty much does it. (About 200 calories, I think)

This just about sums up how I feel about my husband. Met when I was 20, had years of enjoying each other's company before kids etc etc. If my husband was in the market place now he would be a great catch. Me? Am doing alright for 35 but am still a 35 year old women with 2 kids in toe. It's about being young but not too young isn't it? We all make stupid mistakes as teenagers because we are young and naive. If that mistake is getting married to someone you really shouldn't have then trouble follo…

Didn't say TBP are stupid, just that RP relationships are not what TBP think they are. And how can anyone really know what something is like unless they have experienced it? Definitely didn't resort to just name calling. As your only answer now is just to name call I think it's time to call it a day. Nice talking with you.

I disagree. I think she just likes being outrageous and offensive. But I hope at least you now think that not all Red Pill relationships have to be abusive or unhealthy and, in fact, can be a good thing. I can only speak for my own, but my suspicion is that most RP relationships are actually closer to a normal standard relationship than any BPer would ever believe.

Wahahah! Yeah Homo_homino_lupis is hilarious and completely terrifying. Her husband must be the alphas or all alphas!!! And my husband is a big fan of her because she is so outspoken. But you certainly can't describe her as a down-trodden, emotionally abused victim can you?! Why would I choose to go down her path? I am not her. Just because I believe in some RP tenets does not mean I will agree with all other RPillers about everything. We are still different people with unique personalities. And…

Yup. I agree with everything you just said. I also think gender is a spectrum. Women are not inferior or any of the other things you just stated. They are different from men is all. Does TRP sub or at least some members think women are inferior? Yes. I am sure some do, but TRP sub is not Red Pill theory, it is mainly a load of angry guys waving their dicks around. Like I said - arseholes be arseholes.

No Red Pill wouldn't, and this is why you are getting your panties in a twist. Red Pill would say that the man should recognise the skills of both himself and his wife and work in a way which capitalises on that. Which means you have still not described anything in your relationship so far that is not Red Pill. Red Pill is not a dictatorship. I understand you think it is, but it most definitely isn't. This is what I am trying to get you to understand. A Red Pill LTR is nothing more than a tradit…

We are saying the exact same thing and in your situation my husband and I would have done the exact same thing. And I clearly stated that women don't need a protector, instead they want one. And I still think of my husband and I as partners too. Who took charge in the bushfire? Was it you giving your husband directions or did you follow his? I understand you both worked together but someone has to lead/direct.

This is really interesting. You have a more traditional relationship than me. I work part time in the same career I have always had, but much like you, chose to put this on a back burner to be a SAHM while the kids are pre-school. The thing with RP for us is simple really. Yes, if I spent my time reading stupid posts from TRP I would be pretty outraged most of the time too. But I think there are two types of men who are Red Pill, those who read it, have a shitty life for whatever reason and desp…

If you genuinely replied to my husband because you thought I was him then I apologise. Replying to him rather than me seemed very strange for someone who has feminist in their flair. Again, I apologise if my reply came across as 'vitriol' - it was certainly not the way I intended it. However, I stick by calling your stance on OUR relationship arrogant. Here are two people in a relationship saying RP can be a happy, healthy thing, and you, a complete stranger think you know better and give it 6 m…

Wow. You are possibly the most arrogant arsehole I have ever come across on Reddit - and I'm married to /u/TheGreasyHole! I commented how I am happier now than I have ever been, that we are in a normal, happy, healthy relationship and yet you have the sheer arrogance to think you know a complete strangers' own marriage better than they do themselves. /u/TheGreasyPole - you called?! The reason I don't debate is I don't see the point. Most people here seem to be here to defend their beliefs or attack others, not to widen their own world. So what's the point? Secondly, the locker room language in RP stops most people from being anything else other than outraged. People are not going to understand RP in real terms unless they are actually 'living it'. Then you realise that all the male bravado and cock-waving is just that. However, once you are …
