CMV: Most alleged cases of women’s hypocrisy arise from men confusing the behaviours of distinctly different womenTo add to that, it is very easy to "confirm" a theory you have. You see hundreds of people everyday. On the internet, you can see the opinion of thousands of people. So just because you found ten examples of a woman doing X, doesnt mean that that proves your theory. Especially because once you have a preconceived notion (women do X), you're likely to forget women that do Y and remember women that do X. Confirmation bias, TRP should read up on that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/17 08:32 AM
Do you believe TRP should be banned? You cannot kill an idea, but you don't have to host it on your site either | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/06/17 06:13 AM
Women do the "dirty" jobs when they have toThe modern feminist is born out of privilege So is the modern MRA. So is the modern SJW. So is the modern republican with their problems. Almost everyone with a problem and a complaint in western society is born of privilege. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/06/17 03:36 PM
CMV: The redpill suffers from Alexithymia.I've know what they want from people that they're recruiting. Natural Talent and experience. If they could teach sales to everyone, they wouldn't put such an emphasis on needing social talent for it. That said, social skills can be learned, but not like TRP does it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/17 09:28 PM
CMV: The redpill suffers from Alexithymia.Considering how much sales is based on having a feeling for it and a talent to read people, I wouldn't say its too much like that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/17 08:51 PM
CMV: The redpill suffers from Alexithymia. The point is that TRP puts way too much value in their models. The field of psychology is very much a soft science. TRP tries to make it a hard science like chemistry. It doesn't work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/17 07:50 PM
CMV: The redpill suffers from Alexithymia.Red Pill Theory as a whole feels very autistic to me. It tries to attribute a clear cause to everything, even if there isn't, and tries to understand the entire world in simple "do X -> get Y" models. They hate uncertainty. They love patterns. Learning to read emotions is instead replaced with learning to talk your routine, to the point that "if she does X, you do Y". So yeah, fits right in with what you describe. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/17 12:58 PM
Are we critical enough when thinking about problems that don't affect our gender?Biological desire or social pressure? Both can explain it | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/05/17 06:36 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?How is that? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 02:26 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?Women are mostly not very smart Well if you and your friends use that line of reasoning its no wonder you're not having succes | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 02:03 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?In your previous comment you're saying that even athletes struggle and now getting laid every week is as simple as "approaching a bunch of women"? What do you think is a reasonable metric of succes in the dating world? And in the hookup world? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 01:08 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?Are people more dissatisfied or are we simply seeing more dissatisfied people because with the internet we see a lot more people period? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 01:06 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?Decent is in my view being in a relationship, or being able to get at least a date in a few months time, more if you're actively looking (barring bad luck because that happens). I don't care much for hookup culture, but I'd say getting laid once a month is decent enough. You want more and easier sex, then get a relationship or FWB. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 01:04 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?Dont you think "getting laid every weekend" is a very high standard? If you're gonna use that as a metric for being succesfull, then obviously almost no one is. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 01:01 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?And in the same way there's plenty men who will only take the perfect woman and then complain that no one wants them. Shitty people exist. Nothing new. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 12:59 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?And why is that? Surely everyone's had some trouble with dating at one time in their life. But how many people face structural problems with getting a relationship? I don't think it's as bad as TRP would have us believe. Why do you think otherwise? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 12:52 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?And what is that end? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 12:46 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?Maybe the IT has something to do with it? I'm in business and pretty much everyone is at least decent dating wise (there's always expections of course). Do in that case both of our worldviews are somewhat incorrect because we only look at out direct environment? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 12:45 PM
Do you think the problems with dating or hooking up are greatly exaggerated on the internet (places like PPD, or TRP)?I'd say a lot of mine are single too, but they've had relationships not too long ago, so they're not perpetually single, but more like "available". Just out of curiosity, what age are you and your friends and what do you do? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/05/17 12:39 PM
Q4ALL: Isn't "AWALT" just fundamentally silly? Do people really mean it literally when they say it? It's a bit absurd. Surely people are smarter than that. It's so reductive that it's silly. All people have the potential to be almost anything. It's useless to point that out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/05/17 09:37 AM
Q4ALL: What do you think about the concept of "Frame?" Apparently it's very central to TRP. How can it be meaningfully defined/analyzed?Frame is at its most simple just setting boundaries and not getting irrationally angry over nothing. Its fine and healthy for a good relationship. Of course TRP, lacking any kind of nuance whatsoever, take this to mean "never do anything for her that you wouldn't like to do", and "don't show her emotion" which is of course not healthy at all. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/05/17 09:35 AM
Am I the only one here that don't like the stereotypical "alpha male" by The Red Pill? You must have a sad life then | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/17 03:12 PM
Am I the only one here that don't like the stereotypical "alpha male" by The Red Pill? There's more to life than sexual succes you know. If I just want to have sexual succes I can just wack it and feel good. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/17 02:56 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseOf course not. But they're not ugly either. They clearly put a lot of effort in being fit and presentable. How many highly succesful fat/ugly women do you know? And now for men? I know a lot more men like that for sure. Trump being the chief example. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/17 02:11 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseHillary isn't exactly a supermodel, and is far over the hill in terms of being attractive to the vast majority of men, yet she won the popular vote And if you actually looked at their level of competence, Hillary should have gotten a 50 state sweep here. And Hillary, while older noticably puts a lot of effort in her clothing/appearance and so on. She doesn't look too bad for 70. Of course this election isn't a perfect metaphor, but I think that if Trump was a woman, he wouldn't have gotten as fa… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/17 05:46 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseThe guy is noticeably overweight, though. It's not as if people are ripping on a reasonably fit dude for not having a six pack. But it only becomes a problem after people already dislike him. Of course I can't prove it, but I think if Trump were a woman there'd be a lot more "she fat and ugly and therefore she doesn't appeal to me" rethoric than Trump got. Trump got the "He's incapable and an idiot, therefore I will call him fat and ugly". I think a lot of women get the "She's fat and ugly and t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/17 05:27 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseThe argument was that ugly or fat guys are less judged solely for the fact that they are ugly or fat then women are. Remember that the "Trump is a fat pig" argument only exists because people already dislike him and are seeking reasons to bash on him. I think that if Trump were a woman and Hillary were a man, with everything else being equal, Hillary would have won in a landslide. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/17 05:20 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseYeah, but that didn't stop a lot of people from straight up admiring the man and electing him president. Clearly the Similarly, if a woman doesn't keep up her appearance, she is looked down negatively in nearly every other aspect of her life thing you claimed applies to men as well does not, or else Trump wouldn't have gotten anywhere. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/17 05:06 PM
CMV: Men a subject to a much harsher beauty standard, but women would have us believe otherwiseA ridiculously out of shape man got elected president and like 25% of the country adores him | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/17 01:35 PM
