Are you saying that a person has no choice as to whether or not they become a monster because one's personality is reflective of their life experience? I agree with your points but, I think you took my comment for more than it was. I was replying more or less to the OPs statement that the ad targeted moms in their 30s with sons that they didn't want to become monsters. Seriously though, who actively WANTS their child to become a "monster"? 18	The Gillette commercial wasn't meant for me. I belong to the camp of deconstructing gender roles, as well. I think the ad only succeeds in further separating people into gender boxes. How about ALL people treat others with respect? How about regardless of what your appearance may be having accountability for your actions?
