1	Guide to Living with Your Parents It sounds like they don't respect your need for privacy enough. Maybe try to take some steps toward getting them to treat you as more of an adult in this area. I would talk to them about this and try to get them to see it from your perspective. A lot of it seemed like it was important to you, and I know I hate having important conversations over texts. Texting just seems less meaningful.
