The problem with your example isn't female submission. It's a man claiming authority without taking responsibility. If he expects you to carry the mental load, manage the children, organize the household, and handle the consequences of those decisions, then simply declaring himself the "leader" doesn't make him one. Leadership isn't getting final say while somebody else does the actual managing. Where I'd disagree is treating that arrangement as the necessary red pill or traditional model. The s…

I think it's less that women don't know what they want and more that what they say they want and what they consistently respond to aren't always the same. That's why advice based purely on listening to stated preferences so often fails. Actions reveal preferences far more reliably than words. If men want useful dating advice, they should pay attention to patterns of behavior instead of just the answers people give in interviews or conversations.

I don't think it's accurate to say men and women fail to take accountability equally because the social consequences aren't equal. Men are often forced to take accountability since there are fewer safety nets for their failures. If a man repeatedly makes bad dating choices, struggles financially, or lacks success, he's usually told to improve himself. Women are more likely to receive sympathy, external explanations, or reassurance in similar situations. That doesn't mean every woman avoids accou…

One thing that might help is looking for examples that don't involve romance or family at all. Men mentoring younger boys, helping elderly neighbors with repairs, volunteering at food banks, coaching youth sports, donating blood, picking up litter in parks, helping stranded drivers, or quietly supporting friends through difficult times without expecting anything in return. A lot of prosocial behavior is fairly invisible because people aren't broadcasting it online. Seeing more of those examples …

That framing goes too far. The pushback is not just about “silencing” or wanting men to disappear. A lot of it is about how the ideas are packaged and what they sound like they lead to. When it turns into sweeping claims or sounds like a fixed explanation for everything, people push back because it can come off as dismissive or one-sided. At the same time, there is a real point underneath it. Traits like looks, status, and confidence do influence outcomes, and the same behavior can be judged dif…

What changed is not women’s instincts, but the conditions around them. Women now have more education, money, and independence, but they still tend to want men who feel above them in income, status, competence, or presence. That creates the mismatch. Men are still judged by the old standard, while women need men less for survival than they used to. So equal resources did not erase those preferences, it just made them harder to satisfy. That is a big reason so many average men now feel invisible i…

Well, not if the man happens to be on her level or under, since she can definitely play games with those men but make it easy on others that have a higher status.

For men this has always been the case. Nowadays its just even moreso then before.

Yeah it would make it more of a problem. Since some struggle even with all the options currently available.

Definitely is if the man isn't all there in the looks department.

I like most others come to see other peoples perspectives. Some things here are actually valuable to learn from aswell.

I don't think people say that though, ive mainly just heard people say the results can be worse online.

They would definitely have to, if they don't really put in effort as a woman. Doing this as a man will equal no results. Since a man typically will have to work for everything he gets. A woman can get away with minimum or no effort and still have pursuers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
