Ahhh, I think I see what you mean now. Yes, I'm sure that young teenagers who are the victim of "consensual" statutory rape "enjoy" it at that age. But what I'm saying is that making the comments of like "Oh, it's fine, they probably loved it" is also effecting the boys who are raped without consent. Does that make sense?

I wasn't referring to that in my original comment. I can see why it might read that way, though. What I was trying to convey is that by men saying "I'd enjoy it if I was the victim of statutory rape" (regardless of consent), it waters the emotional effects of male rape victims. Even if the victims of male statutory rape "enjoyed" it, they will probably live to regret it. They are teenagers and aren't mentally mature enough to make such decisions.

Firstly, the "if only my teacher was a slut" comments are NOT going to help anyone in this situation. You're belittling the trauma of boys who get raped by older women by insinuating that they should enjoy it or be appreciative, which is disgusting. Secondly, everyone is "screeching" rape because it is rape. Of the statutory variety. I'm not super clear on how age of consent laws collide with stat rape laws, but since they were all under 16, it's stat rape in all of the U.S. 14 and 15 year olds …

Dude, you're actually extremely ignorant. I actually agree with the logic of the second girl. This sub is for when women do stupid shit that wouldn't be acceptable if they were men, but get called out for it. Example, a woman assaulting a man without the expectation of retaliation. That fits this sub. Because the Tweet would've gotten backlash regardless of her being a woman, it doesn't fit. Get it?
