My family and I have owned farmland in California for over 50 years. Let's not play the "who knows Mexican workers better" game. Funny, then you should know their common thread amongst them is they take little to no personal time off and your scoff at someone working 18hrs a day for 3 years seems to betray your familiarity with their work ethic. Passionate viewpoints aside, I do understand how you could hold this viewpoint. And, if we were talking about a few months, maybe I could agree. You und…

You aren't familiar with Mexican workers are you? The child was emaciated, after a while malnutrition will keep you in a low energy near catatonic state. Combined with the cold medicine, a husband who is working 18hrs a day and other kids in the home and you have a recipe for things to get overlooked.

Dude, I've worked those hours and all i did then was get home shower eat dinner and sleep. Why would someone go into a closet for if they don't put clothes away or pick their own clothes? https://www.ranker.com/list/people-who-secretly-lived-in-other-peoples-homes/christopher-shultz There are stories of people living in closets, attics, cupboards for years with the owners being unaware and you think this guy not knowing for 3 years is impossible?

Its even more fucked up that the people who are screaming to de fund ICE and pushing their political party to reject every attempt to get emergency funding for border security are the same ones who now are appalled at the conditions of the detention centers.

Did you read the article? How did the child die? There's evidence that Aguilar was feeding him an alcohol-based cold medicine that made him sleepy. If the other kids were young enough all you need to do was lock the closet and keep them out of the bedroom. And just keep the kid drugged on cough medicine for the hour hour or two the husband is awake at home.
