I am sure if you go through the history of womens rights, you will find a similiar situation for women. They had no govt support in the begining either, hell, they couldn't even vote. Yet they still kept trying and it took almost 50 years for them to go from not being able to vote (or wear pants) to the hieght of the movement in the 60's and 70's.

Not sure where you are getting the stat the men are earning more money. They may be on average, but it makes no difference to this argument. Women spend there money in the market, whether that is minimum wage money or CEO level money. They are the primary shoppers. I have no idea what men spend their money on since this infographic, created by marketers for marketers, does not address the issue.
