Yeah. Im not dipping out forever at all. Not what I meant. The memes here give me life and the community too. Just saying I followed guidelines and it worked out

I dont think I'll necessarily stop following or enjoying the content. Just excited that it has led me to a success story and wanted to say that working on yourself is the key to finding a HVM

Vacation and adventuring by myself is definitely one of my top things to do. I love being on my own timeline and only doing activities that interest me. I'm in school so that takes up a bunch of my time, but I try to keep up w gardening (indoor/outdoor), working out (every other day), baking and cooking (esp bc the pandemic, I never go out anymore), and I'm also involved in a few clubs through school that pertain to my major/interests. Oh, and volunteering, I love helping others and it is very r…

Chelsea from teen mom! She was so hung up on her no value ex baby daddy. He turned out to be a narcissist and drug addict. She went and pursued her career and ended up meeting Cole and he treats her and the kids so good.

I remember learning once that the Y chromosome is just an evolution of the X chromosome with missing pieces X->Y. Maybe those missing parts explain a lot.

More like.. I am so confident in my sexuality I don't need to show it off for approval.

Totally a verb My mom was a total pickmeisha bc of past trauma I can't blame her for and I, eventually, also took on the weight of that trauma and became a pickmeisha myself. FDS is a place where not only am I understood and validated, but I can laugh at my past crazy behavior too. It is such an important safe space for me, honestly.

I will say as a female best friend... My bestie has definitely discussed his relationship struggles w me to gain a female perspective. I don't feel like that is necessarily bad, especially bc his former male bestie (mutual friend) passed and he doesn't have many people to talk to about that stuff. But we are very obviously friends, we call each other brother and sister.

1000%!! If this is what makes you happy, do it. Personally I only throw on mascara and eyebrows, I already struggle with acne and feel gross putting on face makeup, but power to you if you feel happy doing it!

Lol you described my ex to a tee. Except no one really saw his issues so thought he was a grade A guy and I ended up engaged to him. Waste of 1.5 years of my life. But he was a valuable lesson I guess.

Omg did we date the same guy?!??? That last part is sooo true. Though I would say they devolved. Not evolved lol

Dang. I'm sorry to hear that. You are worth more than letting a man break your spirit. I wish I had more to say to help.

I didn't leave my ex despite his mental health issues. It took getting cheated on to leave. Anyway, since being out of our relationship, I have found FDS and decided I won't put up with again. He had terrible insecurities, constantly needing to be reassured, constantly questioning my interactions with other men including my best friend. He had awful anxiety. Literally one time got mad at me bc I expected him to go into the store by himself and that was "too much."🙄 He literally used it as an exc…

I promise you are not permanently broken. I feel like it always feels like that right after a breakup, but give it a few months. Personally, it helped me a lot to journal and to note all the way in which he treated me wrong. It was really eye opening once I saw how long the list really was.

Yeah. It did start to feel relationship-y. Especially bc we started right before quarantine and he was the only person I hung out with bc we were together at work anyway. In the end he started to catch feelings (despite saying himself he knew we wouldn't work out long term, which I agree) and I moved so we agreed it was best to end it. I agree w FDS, especially if a woman thinks she will end up w more out of it. In this case we both went into it hoping for hookups and fun so I was less likely to…

Yeah. I can understand how it can be detrimental. I was jw if this was looked down upon as well?

The fact that you didn’t think of him once when you were happy in your recent relationship hints that it may not be him that you’re missing now but the way he made you feel This right here. I have one ex that I only ever think about when I'm feeling lonely. Bc I miss the way he made me feel. But in all reality, he had a lot of LV traits. I don't miss HIM. Realizing that has helped me move on.

One thing I definitely learned is men do NOT get sex from me unless they put in effort. My ex, after having gotten engaged, so I guess he felt he no longer owed it to me... Would literally turn on the TV then get mad I rolled over to go to sleep. Like, turning on the TV and getting in bed is NOT foreplay. I do more just to masturbate. I literally put on some soothing music, light candles, dim the lights. If I romance myself more than you, then why are you here?

OMG I dated a NVM once who pointed at a mole on my face and told me I was breaking out. I was like, "no, that's a mole, been there since I was a kid." He proceeded to tell me I was wrong and it was a pimple and I should pop it. Like, yo, wtf? I know my own moles you creep.

Eeewwwww. Some guy I knew was "an aspiring photographer," yet it appeared he was only aspiring to photograph beautiful women half naked. Could smell the creep a mile away. I refused and unfollowed when he kept pushing me to be a model in "respectable lingerie." Uh, no. I look at his page sometimes and feel bad for all the girls who are on there. Idk if they do it for exposure or what, but seriously he gets like 3 likes per post. Then you have my cousin doing basically softcore with some unknown …

Super valid points. Thanks for your input. I know I struggle to see things out of the lens of my own perception and I appreciate feedback. I'm really trying to follow FDS guidelines after a long pickmeisha history

Ohhhh, I like this. Soo.. My main issue is neglecting my hobbies and things I enjoy bc they require time alone and LVM always make me think I should give them all my time and I always do. *though I am working on it and remaining single till I figure it out
