This is the only place I've found where people who try to get away with assault get their just desserts, you're the one that wants to think everyone here are just misogynists. I'm all for equal treatment, that's exactly why attacking people should expect a physical response. If I say a person kicked and spat in the face of another person, so that second person threw the first on the floor would you start inquiring what their genders are? If so then you're sexist.

She potentially gave him aids with the spit, playing with hypotheticals is all good and fine but it goes both ways. I think this is totally justified, tit for tat, if he kicked her in the back like she did to him then she could have been seriously injured just because he's bigger and she's smaller. Well rape is unlawful intercourse, and I think if they threaten someone into having sex with them with a machete then no matter how long it lasts it's still rape. Can't blame the victim for submitting to the will of someone threatening them with a deadly weapon, otherwise people could argue that women should fight back the entire time if a man doesn't have a weapon or else it's not rape. Also I don't think it's a good practise to deny the request of someone who is literally threatening your life…

There most certainly are sexist people out there, and I'm sure the reason you gave could have been one, I'd say what's most likely is that this was a traditional barbers (which are establishments made for men) and she was breaking the rules and then demanding that she can be have her hair cut there too. If I'm making a movie and I need a white actor to play a role (lets say the role of King Arthur), then a black actor or Asian actor won't do, as such I'll be denying them based on their race, it's done all the time and no one complains because it makes sense. If a business wants to deny anyone based on anything then they should be allowed to, what comes next it up for the customers to decide (boycott or keep going there).
