OP is talking about how people ultimately do things for themselves, as well as describing the type of people to be most selfish. No where in his post was it stated that everyone is the worst kind of selfish they can be, which is how you're taking it. Obviously people can appear to do unselfish acts, such as what you described in your anecdote. However, helping you ultimately made them feel good, and that's OP's point. People do shit for themselves, it isn't a"good" or "bad" thing that you should…

I've seen posts discussing the use of coding and learning new languages for self-improvement. It's great advice, however it's just been said before. at least not that I know of Try searching the subreddit for those terms.
