This. Can confirm as a guy from that culture. Even our advertisements are filled with that bias

Still overthinking and unable to say "fuck it" in approaching girls. Any solution? Slap to my face? Splashing a bucket of cold water? Advice welcome.

It's a fucking slow grind man. Some days I feel like I've made literally no progress and my perfectionist, traumatic mind doesn't help either. But what gets me going is knowing the paralysing regret I'll feel if i don't do this for myself.

He needs to go out and cold approach. That's the only solution in his situation. Else stay a virgin for a very, very long time.

On a quick side note, I've seen you a lot on this sub and honestly you bring of the few sensible voices time and again for inexperienced blokes like us. Thank you for your service.

Now this seems more realistic than those "100% success rate" pua lines

The harsh truth. Slap to my face. Thanks for sharing. Just curious, are you one of those high success rate guys?

Although I hate to admit it, you're right. I'm in the first category due to childhood traumas and a repressed sexual culture. Changing oneself's childhood beliefs is super hard and even though God knows how much effort I put in each day to overcome it, I've hardly made any progress at all. But at the end of the day, the best we can do is pick up the pieces and try again.

Lol i believe u. I've seen your posts before. Personally I can't approach a girl unless I'm interested in her personality and that's very rare.

I didn't quite understand what you mean except "to seek compatibility = it being a numbers game". Can you elaborate?

Thanks for the motivation buddy! Am of the EXACT same mindset but recently hv been getting stuck in my comfort zone w no approaches. Will approach a woman tomorrow n post an update) OP u rock!

Couldn't agree more. Ig the commenter is looking exclusively at OLD which is a very skewed representation of how the reel world works, and basing his worldview from there. Unfortunately there are a lot of guys out there like him who don't get tf outta their homes and just see around to know that a LOT of below average guys are hooking up or are in a relationship w much better looking women. If this OLD shit continues to consume men like this RIP the next gen.

Amazing advice! Thanks for this post OP Ig I really needed to hear this. Didn't have a social life so decided to start cold approaching but fell off track into the comfort zone after approach #12. This has really motivated me to go out there and start approaching again, however scary it might seem! More power to you bro! BTW any advices for cold approaching local ppl whose native language isn't English? I only speak A2 level of their language lol and most know only little English. Thanks again f…

Appreciate the hard work you put in to get what you wanted man! How much time did it take for you to go from being a beginner in seduction to getting model type girls?

Wow #1 hit me like a bullet train spits out broken teeth Thanks

Appreciate the constructive criticism! BTW I'm a student in said uni but since it's very hard for me to mingle w other native students (language barrier, living in separate apartment, non existent social circle) imo cold approaching in my uni seems to be the only few ways to meet a potential partner.

Haha okay. I'll probably try to follow my target next time like a heat-seeking (but non-creepy) missile :)

I guess because they let me catch them looking at me multiple times, kept glancing at me (peripherally saw this) and constantly chatting in front of me while looking out of the corner of their eyes. I might be wrong but this happened not once or twice but multiple times, so I assumed they were checking me out.
/r/seduction01/07/22 08:33 AM

Wow thanks. I was actually doing it the other way round lol - tryna engage with all of them first so that they don't cockblock me when I afterwards try to engage with the one girl I like.

Thank you so much op and all the redditors for this discussion. You don't know how much you helped me. I am the op's EXACT copy except that I don't even have a WhatsApp account leave along Facebook n Insta and only 2 of my close friends who I msg with Signal. I began to question my preferences when people gave me a 'wtf bro' look when I told them to just mail me pics they wanted to share. Then I stumbled across this. Thanks a ton for this discussion. I needed this <3

I also exchange long and elaborate emails with my friends ever since I ditched WhatsApp for all the shit people posted and it is a great experience to say the least. You don't have to care about when to reply or how quick to reply nor the issue of leaving it seen without replying. Plus me and my friends discuss all sort of philosophical outlooks about how society is (we are arts students. Can't help it) and a bunch of other stuff but instead of feeling outdated and living in the 80s frankly it f…

That's not even a problem with me. The real problem is a lack of things to speak of. Like in a convo 90 percent of the time you literally run out of things to say and are like ok now what? It's horrible. And watching your friend do convos effortlessly feels more horrible.

I legit second that

But what if your real persona attracts almost no one and your made up energetic personality attracts everyone including hot girls? Cuz in that case (which is mine) you are tempted to be that other person even though you aren't irl. And isn't assuming a different persona a way of trying to change oneself for the better? Just saying cuz I'm in the exact same spot for 1-2 years and also desperately searching for an answer.

Thank you for this! My 2020 resolution is to be more social in my life and this has really boosted my confidence. Cheers And have a very Happy New Year!!

Umm... attractive as in how exactly?? I am an introvert (or was, I dunno. I'm currently in the transitioning phase) and I frankly never thought introverts could also be attractive...
/r/seduction29/12/19 07:09 PM
6

Ok wow. I thought that only extroverted guys were supposedly cool rather than introverted ones, who were treated as nerds most of the times. So my perception was that girls dig cool aka extroverted guys more cuz they can make great convos and make them laugh as compared to introverts who are most of the times shy and awkward in social settings. Clearly I need some broadening of my horizons...

Wow! Amazing advice. Are you sure you aren't a love guru??
/r/seduction21/12/19 08:23 AM

Exactly how is what he meant maybe. Cuz after a time you run out of things to say Self musings : small talk isn't a small feat at all!!

Umm...any recommendations for approaching women? I'm at the starting point lol

Wait what? Porn makes things worse and frustrating? How exactly? A genuine question here cuz I'm dealing with the same issue...
/r/seduction20/12/19 08:04 PM
4

Wait. Is this the same girl that your mind goes blank for? If yes then you genuinely have to make an effort to see yourself as something that SHE has to work to get. Turn the tables. Rather than regarding her as hard to get believe that YOU are hard to get. Trust me girls like to work to get their man and don't like things being served on a platter. Raise your self esteem so fucking high that you BELIEVE that you have no need for her since you already have a dozen angels lining up for you. Chang…
/r/seduction19/12/19 10:47 AM
8

Totally second that. If she isn't making efforts, the result is mixed signals.
/r/seduction19/12/19 10:40 AM
6

Mixed signs is not at all good. It means that she is wanting some attention from you and THAT'S IT. nothing more. Move on to the next beautiful girl rather than water your time with this one.
/r/seduction19/12/19 10:38 AM
3

Just imagine a girl more hotter than her and suddenly she will appear ordinary to you. That's relativity. Worked for me and still does
/r/seduction19/12/19 10:36 AM
1

You know I totally agree 200% on what you said about minding your own business and not giving shit about what others think. But the moment I step outside all these things just disappear. Puff! Gone, just like that and I'm back to my conscious and complex driven self comparing others' lives with mine. Gosh! It IS difficult to change!
/r/seduction19/12/19 10:10 AM
2

That's one hell of a comment. You know what? It should be a standalone post in itself. I am struggling with the same issue of not thinking myself as too funny compared to 'funny guys' and I think your post was really great. I literally saved the poem in my notes lol. You actually have a nice way of explaining things
/r/seduction17/12/19 07:01 PM
3

Yup. This is so soo true. I second that. Almost everytime my male buddies are cracking jokes about misogyny, #metoo, marriage and all that stuff (in a light hearted manner ofc ) but they wouldn't dare do it in front of a girl, leave alone a stranger. Also the culture of a place plays a huge impact on interactions of boys and girls. So that may be an additional influencer...
