As an addiction researcher merely passing through /r/seduction, let me just say that you're very wrong. For some, sure, it's a self-control issue, but for others, difficulties with cutting back/moderation has more to do with genetics, brain chemistry, and too much/difficulty coping with stress. It is, put simply, a disease. And you wouldn't go around telling people with asthma "It's all in your head! Just forget about your inhaler and allergy meds. Get out there and go for a long run." And while…

My bad... I thought you were referring to how quickly he was able to get in her pants. While I'd probably choose different words myself, I definitely agree with your general sentiment.

That too... In the PUA community, we believe that more experience makes us better at what we do and the way we think about what we do. Therefore, we should assume the same for women, and not give them shit for it

Regardless of whether it's DHV or not, it's wrong. If a guy were in her position, he'd be praised. I don't understand why having a sexual history is a negative trait for women. Better that than having to deal with the "dead fish" and a toothy blowie

Woah... That's neat! I'm going to try it on a friend or family member to see how it works with voice

I'm still really confused. You're plugging her ear and talking into it? Wouldn't that make it harder to hear? Can you post a diagram or something?

I would strongly advise against this. Imagine you find the perfect girl for you. She's gorgeous and has all the same qualities your look for in a girl. You date for a while, propose, get married. Great. Now let's have sex! You get down, and it's awesome. You feel on top of the world and closer to her than ever before. Now, a few months later, she says she's not into having sex most days, and only wants to get down once a week. You, on the other hand, are an every-night kind of guy. In addition, …

Pretty much. Preferably during a good conversation that you can tell she's enjoying. Remember to smile, maintain eye contact, stand with good posture, and focus on the situation. Don't get in your head.

Ask her out on a date. It's harder to be thrown into the friendzone when you're going out to dinner/an event/for drinks on a Friday night (yes, just you two.) Also, it's a relatively low-risk indicator of your interest in her, because you are neither directly showing nor directly stating that you like her. Once on the date, make incidental physical contact, get to know her better by asking questions mere acquaintances don't normally ask (her dreams, desires, family life, her favorite part/thing …

It seems like you need a confidence boost. Do you happen to lift/workout? After a break up several months ago, I found my source of confidence had been my girlfriend, and realize that I needed to find my own source. I started going to the gym a lot, and now I am not only more athletic and better-looking, but I also found my own confidence again. At the same time, I started talking to more people and practicing my social skills, and now I'm at a place I am happy with, socially. If you're interest…

Take cold showers. Use cold water for washing of any kind. Cold showers are good for your skin, hair, circulation, metabolism, hormone levels, immune system, and more. Do a quick google search if you need convincing and give it a try. My hands did not get unreasonably cold or numb at all last winter

Sure thing man. Mine's not great either... if only theory translated directly to practice.

"Do you go on Youtube much? I think it's one of the best sites on the internet today. I love that people can share their ideas and art, or teach skills and hobbies with such ease. And some videos can be freaking hilarious... have you seen XYZ? No? Well it was basically this guy doing ABC and the way this happened made it impossible not to laugh." Or you can also branch off and explain one of the skills or songs or whatever that you learned on the site, which could either be used in a story or as…

Excellent analogy. Taking a cold shower is kind of like a mini willpower exercise. Not only that, but cold showers are great for your skin, hair, metabolism, immune system, circulation, hormone levels (including testosterone), and more...

Sounds pretty good man. Her going out with her friends is not an indicator of disinterest. She most likely just wanted to hang out with her friends. Her father is likely the reason for her not meeting up with you those few times—don't sweat it. Just continue talking to a bunch of people, with a little bit of focus on this girl until you figure out where she stands. In the meantime, continue working on improving yourself... that should never stop. You mentioned fixing your thinness. Check out www…

I can't even imagine the fire that line will stir up inside her if she's already interested in you. That's awesome man

As soon as I read the title, I recognized an opportunity for making jokes at your own expense. This can accomplish two goals: 1) it shows that you don't take yourself too seriously and shows you're confident enough to let others laugh at you and 2) it lessens the need others feel to sympathize with you. Once that need to feel bad for you disappears, it's just a few people chatting. EDIT: Oh, and feel better man!

Excellent point! One round guys vs. girls, the next one you can switch up teams to build attraction with the girl you're interested in

One of my best friends is Filipino and he's pretty great with the ladies. He's on the shorter side and very thin too. Don't let anything get you down, just be the best "you" you can be and have fun

Welcome! An HB is a Hot Babe, rated on a scale from 1-10. While 5 should, theoretically, be the average, it seems to be closer to a 7. AMOG is the Alpha Male Of the Group. The big shot, or super friendly guy, or decision maker, or leader. There are a bunch of great links you should check out in the sidebar to get started, two of which comprise a glossary of the terms you'll see here on Seddit!

I agree wholeheartedly, and I try to employ this type of kino throughout my social interactions.

You're skewing what I said to make it look like I'm against any physical contact... If you're going to tell me what I think, at least make sure it's correct. The commandments didn't list anything about touching someone's lower back. I believe it suggested "touching her inappropriately." I don't subscribe to modern feminist theory. I just don't like assaulting people.

No worries. I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad day, and I genuinely hope it gets better. Right, the translation was a good touch. And I agree, a lot of the basic principles of these commandments are present throughout this sub. I think the tongue and cheek nature of the writing somehow got lost in being taken out of the larger article or website it was originally found in. The important thing is that discussion is happening. It's good for people to think "well yeah I should definitely be aggress…

It's one thing to be unorthodox, and another to be disrespectful. Richard La Ruina does a good job of discussing escalating with kino without crossing into the territory of sexual assault. Whoever wrote these commandments does not. (See XIII)

I actually refrained from downvoting, because it is technically a constructive post. That's why I voiced my opinion in the form of a comment. While there is some value in the advice, I think it may also lead some beginners or PUAs-in-a-rut to adopt a more misogynistic attitude, which would actually be COUNTER-productive, should there be another alpha in the group with a strong, but respectful frame. There was a post sometime this past week about such an instance, when OP won the girl over becaus…

Why not give good advice in a way that is respectful to all? This sub is about attracting and seducing women, not "owning" them like dogs.
