I don't know what American/Ohioan laws are like. The equivelent UK law maxes out prison sentence at 5 years. 4 years would be inline with that guidance. Irrelevant. There are things called Romeo and Juliet laws that specifically address this. An 18 year old is barely an adult and the relationship very likely could have been initiated before they were an adult or that there may not be sexual contact. I disagree with you. People can form tight bonds over hatred or mutual interests. Hatred is easier to express and more abundant so there are more chances to find people with which to commiserate.
