He's generally critical of social theory. That's well known. He focuses on facts. I doubt he would be nearly as critical about feminist activism as you would like to suggest. While immediately relevant, you're not exactly using that quote in a way that respects the wider context that Chomsky says it in. Feminist debate exists as a forum because it was specifically outside of that acceptable spectrum. While it has become more mainstream these days, it coincides much less with that acceptable spectrum than conservativism, at very least. Conservatism represents, by definition, an attempt to maintain the status quo of debate, to which feminism represents a threat.	/r/MensRights	03/04/14 02:16 AM
