I was in the same shoes as you man. Was 6'3 140 in high school and am now 6'5 190 just from working a physical job and not skipping breakfast. With the gyms finally open, I'm hoping to hit 200-205 by the end of the year and 215-220 by the end of 2022. Getting bigger helps your confidence so much. I'm still not 100% confident in how I look, but compared to high school, it's night and day man. Get a gym membership, lift some weights, and use mass gainer to really help you bulk up. Especially at yo…

It depends. Most girls don't give great advice but I've met a few girls that are self aware and honest about what they want. The advice I've got from them has helped tremendously

So many of my friends I know are dating girls that they got set up with by one of their female friends

You've gotta see height as an asset, not the be-all-end-all. Having other assets will give you confidence, which will get you more opportunities. I'm 6'5 but my physique (thanks COVID for closing the gyms) in combination with social anxiety hinders my success at times. If height was all that mattered, I wouldn't even have to improve myself, but I do along with every other tall guy. It's an asset and despite not being one you can work on, there's so many other ones you can work on.

One of my best buddies dated this one girl at work for like two years. She played him the entire time and he ended up finding a new job and leaving because of it, even though he loved the job. She left shortly after. It's fucking messy. Never do it. If people really want to, ask her when she or you leaves.

Just be honest but word things playfully. If she says she likes Friends for example and you don't like that show, tell her in a jokingly manner that it sucks and that x, y, z are better shows. If you tell her that Friends just straight up sucks without any playful note behind it, you'll be met with criticism especially if it's something she's passionate about. Two of my favourite tease lines are: You definitely do seem like the type to like xyz. Let me guess, you like xyz and xyz too? You like x…

The idea that someone cannot simply voice an opinion on an issue because they are not "affected" (which is debatable, most "womens issues" directly affect men) is such a dangerous ideology to have. I guess women's suffrage should've never happened then because men cannot have an opinion about something only women experience and only men were in politics back in the early 1900's

Stuff like this is what inspired me to hop into trades. Currently got over 20k in my savings at 20 years old and will actually come out of school richer than I started. Hands on work makes the clock fly by and as the boomers start leaving, it will mean more jobs open up. Oh yeah, and no dealing with the BS scam that is universities. Anyone who's here under 18 years old should really look into an apprenticeship program at their school to get a head start

I still don't know anything about her. Maybe you already know what there is to know about her and she's just really that dull.

I went on a date with this girl twice that I wasn't attracted to but got peer pressured into doing it by my co-workers. She was a combination of like 6 different things on this list. I've still yet to meet a girl who isn't one of these things.

Don't hold grudges and never show malice. No point in having enemies.

Ahhhh I took you as some extravert who possibly got offended. All I say is to embrace it man, go straight to meaty conversations about her or things in general. If she's an introvert too, she will love talking a lot more

Introverts do more observation and reflection, thus, have more to contribute in a meaningful conversation. Introverts hate superficial relationships or people you have small talk with. This is why they're seen as socially awkward, it's just draining to waste your social power when nothing is being said because lots of the time, it's hard to participate in an activity you don't want to be a part of. So having a conversation that not only has depth but also benefits from being a conversation you n…

I used to be in the same boat as you man. I was super awkward skinny kid in high school that thought I would never in a million years get a chance to even kiss a girl. I took a year off to improve my social skills and just talk to people at work. I'm still skinny but I've now gone on multiple dates with three different girls in the last couple months. You just have to take some time to work on yourself and be confident with who you are. People get weirded out by your sense of humour because they…

As a personal anecdote, I'm really tall so I never had to try that hard to get attention in general from people. Once I started realizing that girls aren't gonna date a dude who has no idea how to socialize just because he's tall, I had to work on my social skills. After noticing this, I realized that all my funny friends are shorter than average. You know they had to work on their personality to stand out.

In what world are you getting talked to by women about sports? I'm a sports fanatic, wear sports merch all the time, and have literally NEVER talked sports with a woman before in my entire life while I've talked sports with way too many guys to count. I'd love to live in a world where sports isn't like a 1000:1 ratio of men:women being interested in it.

This is actually a really good analogy. So a friend comes up to you with the bet, and you accept thinking that it's a good bet and you might as well take it because you know the person well enough. At the first quarter of the game, it's going pretty good. You and your friend sit down with a beer, and have a general good time. Game is close, things are fine. Nothing too serious. Kinda like the honeymoon stage. At the second quarter, you and your friend start betting money on the spot for who is g…

Yeah but you can't guarantee the kid even liked the teacher in the first place since lust and love are subjective

Chivalry at it's finest. We treat a woman better doing the same thing because she's a woman. Parents really gotta stop teaching their kids chivalrous values and start teaching being respectful to everyone.

I'm honestly not surprised. It's probably the only reason why those laws exist. Guys are forced generally by each other to act so straight it's beyond ridiculous. I'm straight but I'm confident enough in my sexuality that I don't need to act straight to be straight.

I will bet my life savings that if that was posted on Facebook or any other general social media website, people would say the kid was lucky.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
