INTJ here. Jordan Peterson's response was accurate. In my opinion, INTJs are rarely stimulated by small talk. Deeper conversations are how we prefer to connect/engage with others (quite possibly the only way). INTJs are completely capable of reluctantly participating in small talk (lol) but 9/10 would prefer not to.

Crazy I'm coming across this post as I went out alone last night and managed to have one of the best nights I've had in a long time.

Actually do this with my gf all the time to "teach" her how to have a conversation. Fails everytime. Makes me want to leave her tbh, don't know what to do. I want to be with someone that can keep me interested, Its not hard, dated other girls that do that fine.

Face that girl head on, maybe try to get her to laugh and loosen up. That way she becomes an ally.

Going thru this very thing right now. Writing about it in a journal helps unload the thoughts from your brain. do what TheXXL said as well and channel it to other things. But also I believe that its ok to feel this way as long as its not becoming a negative in the relationship. Talk to your partner about what your thinking and feeling, if they are the one for you, they will calm this.

You are so right bro. I was literally thinking about this today. "Stand for something, or fall for anything." applies here I believe. I actually think being that passive all the time can decrease T levels. lmfaoo

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
