I said my piece. You refused to comment on how women are disadvantaged in terms of poverty, income, and education. And by large numbers. You just launched into ‘but men suffer too’.
Not every marriage is to people the same age. And I’m sorry these statistics upset you but they are true. Women face massive disadvantages due to gender norms in India.
You seem very angry about women getting free bus fare in a country where they are severely disadvantaged. As is made obvious by the stats I posted about money, education, and poverty.
Only a fraction of underage marriages are men. It’s much more a problem for women. But I see that you just want men to be victims and don’t want to discuss any of the stats I mentioned or acknowledge that women do face serious issues in India.
Women in India are 18% more likely to be illiterate, 17% more likely to live in extreme poverty, make 78% less income than men in India, and millions of women are forced to be married before the age of consent. But they ride the bus for free and that makes some men angry at them for freeloading.
