The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them!Yeah, it's one of those things that you don't really think about here, but when you actually explain it to someone it's freaking bizarre. I like it though. It's very british. Instead of a tax, we have a completely voluntarily paid license run entirely on the honour system which is, at it's very worst, a minor annoyance. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 22/05/19 09:56 PM |

The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them!Nope.you dont need to pay if you have a tv but dont watch tv on it either, its fine. Better than a tax. Occasionally youll get license people ask if they can see your lack of a tv or that its not plugged in, you dont have to let them in if you dont want to but the only guy whos ever asked me was polite so I said sure. Walked in, 'yep - not plugged in. Bye!' Its weird, but its the most benign thing you can think of. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 22/05/19 08:59 PM |
| 1 | British tourist claims Gibraltar’s apes sexually assaulted herThis doesnt really belong here. It sounds like a legitimate grievance. This subreddit is ostensibly not for actual misogyny, but hypocrisy, which is the only reason i can see this being posted here. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 27/06/15 11:53 AM |
