I think the best thing you can do is to hone in on the problem: Has your man dropped frame and just needs a fire under the tush? Is this just his normal mode of being and you havnt realised until now? Or is he actually depressed and saving face? Put yourself in his shoes, think on it all for a bit. Because the questions youre asking, only you can really answer.

Crisis of ambition. Same thing happened to me when I got in a LTR (5 years). Had everything I wanted in life, comfy well-paying job, beautiful girl, video games and pot.
