I was a teachers aide as a special education school for very disabled kiddos. I was the only guy who worked there. And I was the coolest person at that school. All the kids wanted to have lunch with me (we ate with the kids to teach good manners) they wanted me to push them on swings, to watch them do this, or see what they drew etc. So many of these kids, especially ones with divorced parents, get so little contact with men that they crave it. I work in education and personally, I think you are losing out a lot with it being online. Physically being there and connecting and working together is much more a part of the educational process than just getting answers right. As a male teacher at a high school, we all live in fear when the inevitable happens and we have to cite a female dress code violation. The female side of the dress code is more harped on because teachers are discouraged from citing them, because a good chunk of the time we get smacked with 'well why were you looking at her breasts?!' and made to feel like a pervert.
