I see it a lot, at least 25% or more. Either a general "love to travel" or they list how many countries they've been to.

Call a woman a hooker, slap random women on the ass, don't actually pay attention to them, talk to them in some secret emotional code...wtf is this shit and what kind of woman does this awkward crap work on?

Oh my god there's so many men with a sex countdown clock. If a man ever tells me there's no rush when it comes to sex, when I do get ready for it, I'll buy sexy lingerie, a vibrator, some rope and handcuffs, and go to town. No pressure is super sexxxxyyyy.

I implore you not to listen to this guy. I am not hitting on you when I say this, but you seem like a level-headed guy, and it is more attractive than these guys chomping at the bit to get a kiss or a BJ. You are not a chump. I SAY THIS TO ALL YOU MEN: I give great head but I have to get comfortable with you first. If you can't wait, then I'll head my happy ass down the road. EDIT: I like the part of PUA that's about developing your social skills with EVERYONE. It's when they start targeting us …

I get where you're coming from, but ffs, it's only a month. What if you missed out on some amazing sex just because you couldn't wait for her to put out?

Girl, I've been in the subreddit a little while. They have great ideas, mostly around self-improvement, but there's a lot of bad apples in the idea tree too. Such as this "if she doesn't kiss me on the first date she's a prude" bullshit. I love having sex with men but I have to know the guy beyond the damn first date to kiss.

you should really not use the phrase "force the issue" when talking about kissing a girl.

I can see this working, but man it does not sound like a lot of fun at all. And the word "escalate", as a woman, sets off alarm bells in my head. I keep thinking of a guy who tries to get away with more and more stuff with me.

Hello? Have I landed in an alternate world where every woman is comfortable kissing a guy on the first date? Seriously, you guys need to change your angle. I love love love men and think about how hot they are all the time, but I don't always want to kiss a guy on the first date. That doesn't mean I'm not attracted to him. Tho if you guys are just looking for tail, never mind.

I agree, you do have to "fake it till you mean it", but there's a point where you just have to be you and stop forcing every action you do. This was really painful to read.

I can see where you're coming from, showing her you don't care, but you really shouldn't care. Don't show, just be. The lemmings thing is super creepy.

It's frustrating too, because I identify with a lot of things said here, i.e. it's not about picking up women, but improving yourself, working on your shyness, etc. But then they start with the targeting and the prospecting and for fuck's sake the negging! and I just sigh. I feel like if these guys approached women in a desexualized way, and then asked her out when they had a good rapport going, they'd be a lot more successful.

Not everyone goes to a party with the intent of leaving with someone at the end of the night. Maybe she has a boyfriend? Anyways, why did you start right out with asking her to dance? That's way too forward for many women. I think she thought you were cute, cuz she laughed at you, then you came on too strong. And the whole "come find me when you're done being anti-social" (if that's how you actually put it) sounds whiny and a little argumentative.

I have this really really crazy idea: skip the lame ass lie about your wallet. Do all the rest of the steps. If a guy did this to me and I couldn't tell it was a lie, I wouldn't think less of him. But the way you interact is the factor on which I decide if I want another date. Not that I "owe you one". It sounds a little pathetic.

News flash - PEOPLE are hard to figure out and when they try to explain why they do the things they do it sounds like BS. Women aren't some alien species to decode, ffs.

Well luckily MRM has other representatives than yourself, or else it would be a lost cause. I can see you skimmed all my comments, because I said I had been reading this reddit, but no one was really trying to examine how feminism hurts men. With your sourpuss attitude, good luck getting others on your side. You could've gotten me, but you instead got pissy because i asked a question after reading this reddit, its faq, and other things on the net.

You guys rightly talk about how men are hurt in society. But all the comments about feminism never explain how it hurts men. And you've really proven my point, you can't get others to join you without proving your case. Do you just go to work, have an idea, and when someone asks for some solid reasons why they should implement your idea, you just go "fuck your proof it's obvious"?

I honestly don't see how feminism has hurt men. I would honestly like to know. If you can't provide proof to the curious,, how are y'all going to get anywhere?

I came here to understand where you guys were coming from. But instead of talking about the issues, which you have several, it's a circlejerk of complaining about feminism, when we should be working together.

Certainly not misogynist. However, men and women who won't have sex during periods seem incredibly uptight.

You know what? This whole subreddit (not MRA in general) seems to boil down to: rag on women for not admitting this and that, and ignore the things men have done. Yes women need to admit things, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be listened to. Just like men have a lot to admit to, but you still deserve to be heard. I can take every instance of women in your reply and replace it with "men" and it would make just as much sense. Women respond to the demands put forth by men. The stereotypical vie…

I can answer that if you explain "women's sexual preferences and social demands". Perhaps you mean manly men? I would say firstly that many women don't like those type of men, including myself. Secondly, our preferences are influenced by society. Women are subtly influenced everywhere to prefer so-called "manly" men. Look at all the negative stereotypes of men in entertainment. It subtly influences our thinking. Movies are the prime perpetrator, where the "nerd" guy rarely saves the day. I know …

The thing is, I've seen many commenters and writers on Jezebel speaking against negative stereotypes against men. The most common are that men are not nurterers, how men are portrayed in entertainment as "dumb" compared to women, and that men experience violence perpetrated by both men and women. However, the movement is "feminism", which means we are more focused on helping women. You guys are more focused on men. Both movements have their bad apples (and I've seen so many disgusting comments o…

It's just me here, I don't know much about the act and don't have time to read about it now, but I will. Regardless, know that many feminists have the same ideas that y'all have: that the gender stereotypes have hurt men. They are the reason for higher suicide rates and discrimination in the courts. Please don't hate feminists, we're just trying to get everyone on equal footing. And remember, we def know what's up with Jezebel. Search stfujezzies and "mizzjenkins"

I'm a longtime Jezebel reader, so I know the myriad of issues that site gets right and gets wrong. And most of those things pop up in articles written by that racist cunt Tracie Morrissey. There's a huge following of feminists who can't stand her racist and sexist hypocrisy. I'd take anything on that site with a fuckton of salt, and know that many feminists are aware of Jezebel's problems. God I wish they'd fire that bitch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
