It's more general, and I don't have an issue with people fighting to rectify issues where women actually are discriminated against unfairly. The link to the forbes article on the gender pay gap doesn't really prove anything and I'm yet to see real evidence for or against the gender pay gap. Despite this, the rest of your list is clearly accurate and I'll be keeping a copy of it on my phone for reference. Thanks for the compilation :)

True about the guns, though in the UK where I live it's not relevant. I don't really know the show in the US or other countries, so concealed carriers might be common enough for it to make a difference there. I don't really see how your last comment relates, it felt a little besides the point; where I was pointing out that a smart robber (at least in the uk) would rob a man since a man is less likely to be armed with a concealed weapon. That's more my observation than a fact though.

TBH it wouldn't surprise me given women are more likely to carry weapons for the sake of self-defense, and they're more likely to be sharp weapons than firearms or blunt weapons. In a public place, a woman is probably more likely to be well defended because they're carrying a weapon as well as being defended by people in the local area, so the smart robber would attack a man. That's my guess, anyway.

I don't know if men are more likely to be victimised than women but I do think that men are roughly just as naturally at risk. At the end of the day though, you're right. Are you trying to argue that false rape accusations don't happen on a frequent basis worldwide? 7 billion people and you think there's no chance this is a common occurrence? Of course it happens frequently; people can get away with it and it's literally got no negative consequences for them. There are loads of cases like this online where the accusing parties have admitted to making the claim up to get the person in trouble.

This is a good point. Me and one or two of my mates are open with each other a lot, but it's usually the less healthy friends that do that. Generally I feel good even through depression/anxiety/paranoia when my mates drag me out.

No, I getcha, when you break it down like that it's creepy, but you can see he obviously was just saying he wished he could find a partner who was raised with that mindset, not specifically that person's kids. Also, "Kids" is probably the wrong term, since he is asking about an adult. But I get what you mean and had the same initial reaction, I just prefer to respond based on what I think a person means after considering it instead of what my initial thoughts are.

I mean I can see this from both sides, the comment seems outrageous at first but when you think about it it's really not because you're saying "I bet you'd be a great parent and raise a daughter I'd admire enough to date". Egalitarian/equalist are the terms I use to show that I support perfect equality in situations where the sex of the individual doesn't directly effect the situation (though I consider most situations to be independent of the sex of the individual, one should consider professions such as stripping, acting or gynecology to show that sometimes the sex of a professional is relevant to their job or which tasks they're given)
